They liked what they saw. NXT superstar Roxanne Perez made her main roster debut this past week on Smackdown, teaming with Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez to take on Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky of Damage Control. According to reports from both Wrestling News and PWInsider, WWE officials were very impressed with what they saw from Perez and plan on continuing to use her on the main roster again very soon. Perez has had quite the rise in professional wrestling since beginning her training at Booker T’s wrestling school at the age of 16. She debuted for Ring of Honor in April 2021 at the age of 19, winning the inaugural ROH Women’s World Championship and becoming the youngest female champion in company history. Lesnar has a blend of amateur wrestling abilities, charisma and natural strength that may never be matched and WWE sees to know it. From WWE.com: One of the key figures in the history of Japanese wrestling, Antonio Inoki was among the most respected men in sports entertainment and a bona fide legend in his homeland. Born in Yokohama, Japan in 1943, Inoki grew into a natural in-ring competitor. WWE has announced that the main event of November 5’s Crown Jewel event will see Logan Paul challenging Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Welcome back. With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, it can be more than a little tricky to keep track of them all. At some point someone is going to go away for a bit and that can set up a nice return down the line. This could be due to an injury or because of an angle, and over the weekend, one of the biggest names of all time returned with revenge on his mind. Edge made his return to WWE this weekend at Summerslam, costing Judgment Day a tag match against the Mysterios. This ends a month plus long hiatus for Edge, who was attacked by and thrown out of Judgment Day on Monday Night Raw. Edge was reportedly scheduled to return earlier in the week on Monday Night Raw but the plans were changed due to Vince McMahon’s retirement from WWE. WWE May Be Changing Judgment Day’s Direction In A Bigger Way
What could have been. Stables have been a thing for a very long time in wrestling and that is certainly still the case in WWE today. The important thing is finding the right idea for the right group of people as missing on either point can be quite the mistake. Sometimes a bad idea has to be rejected and that took place earlier this year with a WWE stable that has already undergone a big change. This week on Monday Night Raw, Finn Balor joined Edge’s Judgment Day stable before kicking Edge out to take over the stable for himself. According to Fightful Select, WWE originally wanted the stable to be more supernatural in nature but Edge was opposed to the idea. As a result, WWE changed the direction of the stable as a reactionary measure as WWE wants to change the direction of the stable. She’s back! Tonight on Raw, Alexa Bliss made her return to television after being away for several months. She would be the mystery opponent for Sonya Deville, whom she defeated in somewhat of a squash.
