Matt Cappotelli's wife provides a heartbreaking update on Matt. Former WWE 'Tough Enough' winner Matt Cappotelli has had a rollercoaster of a life. Cappotelli earned a WWE contract along with John Morrison as the two men won the third season of 'Tough Enough'. After making a number of appearances on WWE programming he was sent to OVW to continue training and eventually became OVW Heavyweight Champion. In 2005 Cappotelli was diagnosed with a tumor just a few years after earning his WWE contract which forced him to relinquish the OVW Heavyweight Championship. During the summer of 2017 Cappotelli announced that he was set to undergo emergency surgery after doctors discovered a large tumor in his brain. Bad News Regarding Former Tough Enough Competitor Matt Cappotelli’s Health

<p>It was <a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/2017/06/28/former-tough-enough-competitor-matt-cappotellis-brain-tumor-returns/">reported</a> a few <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/weeks/" title="weeks">weeks</a></strong> ago that former WWE Tough Enough Talent, Matt Cappotelli’s <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/brain/" title="brain">brain</a></strong> cancer had returned after 10 years. Matt took to his <a href="https://www.facebook.com/matt.cappotelli?hc_ref=NEWSFEED&fref=nf" target="_blank">Facebook page</a> to provide yet another update on his health and the news isn’t good.</p><p>Here’s what Cappotelli wrote:</p><p><em>“Diagnosis is in.</em></p><p><em>I have a grade IV GlioBlastoma Multiforme (GBM).</em></p><p><em>This is not the news I was looking forward to hearing or sharing, but it will in no way deter me from continuing my fight. Spinal tap this Friday will determine if the cancer cells have spread to my spinal fluid. Monday is a follow up with my team of doctors to determine the treatment steps needed to beat this. Buck remembers looking up to Cappotelli during their time working together in OVW, WWE’s former developmental territory, and he’s very saddened by the news that Cappotelli has to deal with this for the second time in his life.</p><p></p><p>Ryback says that Cappotelli is one of the strongest guys he’s ever met, and if there’s anyone who can beat this disease <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/twice/" title="twice">twice</a></strong> it’s Cappotelli. He clearly finds a way to take the positives out of negative situations, and Ryback is confident that Cappotelli will come through this yet <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/again/" title="again">again</a></strong>.</p><p>Ryback gives his thoughts on Netflix’s new show ‘GLOW’. He says that he doesn’t watch much television, but Buck urged him to watch it and he’s really glad he did. He was instantly hooked to the show after watching the first couple of episodes, and he thoroughly enjoyed the show as a whole.</p>
