She and Karrion Kross battled the team of Emma and Madcap Moss in a tag team match at a live event in Wheeling, West Virginia. Former WWE Star Makes Surprise Return This Week On Monday Night Raw
Welcome back. We are in the middle of several changes to the WWE roster as all kinds of former stars have made their return to the company. Some of these stars have made their impact in WWE before but there are others who have not had the chance to make things go so well. It means a lot for someone to get a second chance and now another star might be getting such a shot. Over the last several weeks, Judgment Day’s Rhea Ripley has caused problems for the OC, with the OC not being able to do anything about her. The team has promised to find someone to help them with her, but no one had appeared. This week on Monday Night Raw, Mia Yim made her return to WWE and attacked Ripley, seemingly joining the OC. They have a unique relationship. There has never been anyone in wrestling as powerful or influential as Vince McMahon. During his time running WWE, McMahon was able to make or break anyone’s career in the blink of an eye, meaning a relationship with him was one of the most important things a wrestler could have. You hate to see it. According to a report from Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live. Becky Lynch suffered a separated shoulder at SummerSlam during her match with Bianca Belair. From the report: “Becky Lynch took the Jaded (Glam Slam) and landed sideways, she landed on her side. Having separated my shoulder twice wrestling, I knew immediately that was not good. She started grabbing her shoulder, and she was grabbing her shoulder throughout the rest of the match,” Alvarez said. He continued, “We can confirm today that she did suffer a shoulder separation. I don’t know the extent of it, there are several grades of shoulder separation. So I had a column set up about the upcoming Summerslam title matches and how WWE doesn’t have much of a choice but to do a series of rematches. Odds are you’ll see that one in the future, but the wrestling world being turned upside down. After forty plus years of being in charge, Vince McMahon officially retired from WWE and has handed control over to his daughter Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan. Yeah I think that might be a bit more important than anything happening at Summerslam with its big package of rematches (more on that later) This is the kind of thing that you always knew was going to happen at some point but it’s hard to actually believe it went down. Vince has been the force in WWE and the idea of anyone being in charge of the company is almost impossible to fathom. Controversial Star Returning To Wrestling After Nearly Two Year Absence
Welcome back? While WWE and AEW get most of the attention, there are a lot of other talented wrestlers performing elsewhere. That can open the door for a lot of fans to see stars that they new knew before, but sometimes these other promotions have stars that you have seen somewhere before. It seems to be the case again, and now a seemingly blackballed star is on her way back. Hurricane Pro Wrestling in Beaumont, Texas has announced that Tessa Blanchard will be appearing at their event on July 16. There is no word on what Blanchard will be doing on the show, though she is featured in the center of the post. Blanchard has not wrestled since September 12, 2020 for Warrior Wrestling. Since then, she has been living in Mexico with her husband Daga, following allegations of racist statements against a wrestler in Japan. Add it to the list. We are less than a month away from WWE’s next pay per view with Money in the Bank. The show will be built around the show’s namesake matches and those will take up a bunch of time. There are other matches that need to be covered though and that includes some title matches. One of those has been added to the card and it should be a pretty big showdown. WWE has announced that there will be a Tag Team Title match featuring the Street Profits challenging the Usos at Money in the Bank. This is the result of the Usos losing a Champions Contenders match on Monday Night Raw, earning them a title match at some point in the future. The match will be for both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles, both of which the Profits have held before. What could have been. One of the most interesting parts of WWE in recent years has been the amount of wrestlers walking away from the company. This has never been done in WWE history and some of the moves have been rather surprising. During a recent interview on Talk Is Jericho, former WWE and current AEW star Toni Storm spoke about her time in WWE. There’s The News: Update On Cody Rhodes’ Injury Status (And It’s Not Good)
That’s a long time off. Cody Rhodes made his surprise return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 and has since taken WWE by storm. Rhodes has become one of the biggest stars in WWE and even headlined last weekend’s Hell In A Cell event. However, Rhodes has suffered a major injury and that is the kind of thing that could slow him down for awhile. Now we know just how long that might be. Before Hell In A Cell, Rhodes suffered a torn pectoral muscle while training, though he did manage to wrestle his scheduled match anyway. This week on SmackDown, Michael Cole announced that as a result of the injury, Rhodes will be out of action for about nine months. Rhodes underwent successful surgery to repair the injury on Thursday in Birmingham, Alabama.
