It’s On: Hell In A Cell Match Set For WrestleMania 39

That’s a big one. We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania 39 and the show is already starting to come together. There are several matches already set for the show but with two nights to fill, a lot more will need to be done. This can include matches that are not held under your typical rules, and now another one has been added to the card with some of the biggest stipulations WWE has to offer. Lawler was recovering in Florida and undergoing outpatient therapy but now, according to PWInsider.com, he has recovered enough to return to his other home in Memphis, Tennessee. There is no word on when Lawler, 73, is expected to make a full recovery from the stroke. Lawler has had quite the career in WWE. Yes or no? With so many wrestlers on the WWE roster, it is easy for a wrestler to get a bit lost in the shuffle. Someone can be off of television for a bit and almost be forgotten, which can make for some tricky situations. That can happen at almost anytime and it seems to be the case again with another star, but now they are disagreeing with reports about her status with the company. According to both PWInsider.com and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bliss is on a hiatus from WWE, with PWInsider reporting that Bliss was not factored into the company’s plans after the Royal Rumble. Bliss has since responded to the reports, saying that she is not on hiatus and “they know where they can find me.” She also said that “you only see what parts of life I want you to see.” There is no word on when Bliss will return..

I’m not sure what that is going to mean as you never know what you are going to get on this show. Sammy Guevara vs. Action Andretti Guevara is more than a bit cocky to start so Andretti takes him down and starts hammering away. Andretti sends him outside and into the steps, setting up a dropkick and moonsault for two back inside. They head outside again with Guevara getting the better of things for a change. This includes several title matches, including one involving John Cena challenging Austin Theory for the United States Title. That is going to be a unique kind of match as Cena does not regularly appear for WWE, but now we know a bit more about his WrestleMania schedule. That show is only two and a half months away so AEW actually needs to put some things together a little bit faster here. Other than that, we have a lot of fallout to get through so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. All-Atlantic Title: Orange Cassidy vs. Jay Lethal Cassidy is defending and everyone is sent to the back to start. This is the Roadblock special, because we need a special event less than a month before what is probably the biggest NXT event of the year. Since the NXT Champion is in a six man tag, the real main event is probably Shawn Michaels appearing on the Grayson Waller Effect. He’s back. The biggest wrestling story of the year has been the return of Vince McMahon to WWE, following a six month absence. McMahon is back to facilitate a sale of the company, though it has led to wonder about whether he will rejoin the creative team. While there is nothing to suggest that he has done it so far, McMahon did do something this week that he has not done since his return.
