IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Up Next: Full Taping Results From Next Two Editions Of NXT *SPOILERS* Wrestling Observer Radio has more details about the process that led to Rose’s firing. NXT trainer Matt Bloom reportedly informed NXT head Shawn Michaels about the photos, which caused Michaels to immediately make the decision to have Rose drop the title. The match between Rose and Roxanne Perez was originally planned for New Year’s Evil on January 10. Once the title change took place, Rose was let go from the company. Finally, Rose reportedly went further and further with her photos until WWE decided they went too far and ..

WRESTLING RUMORS: Who Will Be Taking Stephanie McMahon’s Place In WWE Management

That’s a big shakeup. It takes a lot of people to work together to make WWE work. With so many things coming together to keep the company running smoothly, it means a lot to have the right people in the right places. When someone moves around in the higher corporate structure, it can be quite the shakeup throughout the company. That is the case again with some names you might recognize. Earlier this week, Stephanie McMahon announced that she will be stepping away from her position at WWE for the time being, though she is planning to return to her job in the future. According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, WWE President Nick Khan will be taking over most of McMahon’s duties. Various business partners were told of the decision earlier in the day. Nick Khan will be taking over most of Stephanie McMahon's duties in her absence, according to multiple people at WWE. Select business partners have already been informed. — Brandon Thurston (@BrandonThurston) May 19, 2022 Opinion..

WWE Issues Statement On Sasha Banks/Naomi Walkout

It has been previously reported that Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of the Raw taping this evening due to their unhappiness with the creative direction of the show’s main event. As a result, the original 6-pack challenge match had to be changed. WWE has released a statement about the incident, which reads as follows: When Sasha Banks and Naomi arrived at the arena this afternoon, they were informed of their participation in the main event of tonight’s Monday Night Raw. During the broadcast, they walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis’ office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk, and walked out. They claimed they weren’t respected enough as tag team champions. And even though they had eight hours to rehearse and construct their match, they claimed they were uncomfortable in the ring with two of their opponents – even though they’d had matches with those individuals in the past with no consequence. Monday Night Raw i..

WWE Hall Of Famer Suffers Nasty Injury

That isn’t good to hear. Wrestlers are larger than life characters who get your attention no matter what they are doing. That can make for some interesting moments, which is exactly what a promotion is hoping they can do. The more interesting these wrestlers are, the better the business is likely to do, but the people are still humans. That means they have problems, and that was the case again recently. According to Jerry Jarrett’s Facebook page by way of PWInsider.com, WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has been hospitalized after breaking his hip in a fall. Jarrett said that he spoke to Hall, who informed him about the incident. Hall is currently scheduled to appear in Dallas for WrestleMania weekend as a guest at WrestleCon though it is not clear if that is still the case following his injury. Opinion: That is never good to hear and hopefully Hall makes as fast of a recovery as possible. It is a terrible situation and something that could take a good while for him to get better. Hall is..

WWE Dramatically Changes Coronavirus Testing Policy

That’s one way to fix things. The Coronavirus pandemic has hit the wrestling world all over again and things are already starting to look bad. This weekend’s WWE live events were overhauled due to several names being pulled from the shows. There is a good chance that will continue going forward, and now WWE has changed one of their policies to make things a lot easier on themselves. According to Fightful Select, WWE has informed the Performance Center talent that they are no longer required to be tested twice weekly for the Coronavirus. Main roster talent has also been informed that regular testing will not be required either. There is no word on if a vaccination made a difference in the company’s decision. The roster is said to not be happy with the decision, as their numbers are already depleted as it is. There are going to be more stars on WWE TV again. Recently Released WWE Star Reveals Further Backstage Communication Issues

Those are some communication issues. WWE has been going though a lot of changes as of late, with several wrestlers leaving the company. That can make for some interesting fallout, as several of the wrestlers have had some not so great things to say in WWE on their way out. It seems that is the case again, as we are hearing another story about WWE being all over the place backstage. Recently released WWE star Alex Zayne was interviewed by Fightful Select and spoke about his release from the company. Zayne, who wrestled in NXT and on 205 Live as Ari Sterling, mentioned that he called WWE talent scout William Regal after his release, to which Regal was said to be “in shock”, as he did not know cuts were coming. Zayne was informed of his release by John Laurinaitis, who was said to be very polite in explaining the news. There is no word on any more releases coming to the NXT or WWE rosters. Zayne was quite a star on 205 Live. Check out what he did during his time in the company: [This p..

Here’s How WWE Wrestlers Were Told About The Releases

That’s a different way to go. The biggest wrestling story of the week has been the latest batch of WWE releases. For the second time in less than two months, WWE has released several wrestlers from their contracts on the same day. That is going to get some reactions from the wrestling world and its fans, but in this case it might be more of the way the announcement was made. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, this week’s batch of releases was announced to the roster via a single text message from new Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis. This has never been the method that the company has informed wrestlers of such moves before. Budget cuts were cited as the reason for the releases. There is no word on if any more releases will be taking place in the future. Here is the text that was sent, according to PWInsider.com: Due to Budget cuts the following talent were released today. Braun Strowman, Lana, Buddy Murphy, Santana Garrett, Ruby Riott, and Aleister Black. – John Laurin..

WrestleMania 35 May Be The Longest In The Event’s History

If Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is to be believed, WrestleMania 35 may be the longest WrestleMania show in history. Meltzer is reporting that WrestleMania 35 is slated to start at 5:30 P.M. EST. This would likely follow a pre-show that lasts two hours, we assume. Meltzer claims that the current plan for the show would mean WrestleMania won’t wrap up at 11 P.M. as expected by many. Rather, it may continue through the night into the early hours of the morning. WWE is perfectly fine to do this for a number of reasons. As we’ve reported this week, WWE is changing the lengths of their PPVs and have informed international partners of this. Additionally, the show will primarily be watched on the WWE Network. This means unlike with Raw or SmackDown, WWE has no limit to how long their content is. Depending on how you look at it, WrestleMania could very well exceed 6 or 7 hours, potentially even excluding the two-hour pre-show that the event will have. The one big, obvio..

WWE Are Making Some Interesting Changes To Future PPVs

According to Steve Carrier of Ringside News, WWE is making some interesting changes to their PPVs moving forward. As Carrier explains, with a growing roster and the combination of Raw and SmackDown for co-branded PPVs, time is of the essence. Now it appears WWE has caught onto that idea and are capitalizing on it. PWInsider notes that WWE has informed international broadcasting partners that their PPVs will now be starting an hour earlier moving forward. PPVs will now last four hours, with roughly two hours devoted to each brand depending on the show and storylines heading into the event. The Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Survivor Series will all go an extra hour, lasting five hours instead. This change reportedly kicks off with Money In The Bank. The PPV itself is expected to begin at 7 P.M. EST as opposed to 8 P.M. EST. There will still be a Kickoff Show beforehand. Backstage Speculation On Hiroki Sumi’s Addition To The Greatest Royal Rumble Match

The Wrestling Observer Radio has provided some insight into why former sumo wrestler Hiroki Sumi was added to the Greatest Royal Rumble match. Sumi was a surprise entrant in the 50-man Royal Rumble match in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Sumi famously wrestled as Hishofuji over his twelve-year career. In the Rumble, Sumi entered at #7 before being eliminated quickly, following a staredown with Mark Henry. Dave Meltzer noted on the Wrestling Observer Radio that the price in Saudi Arabia was the one who wanted to bring the company to Saudi Arabia. The prince himself reportedly spoke with Vince McMahon to organize the show. A number of wrestlers were reportedly discussed by the prince. He wanted some of his favorites in The Undertaker, The Ultimate Warrior and Yokozuna to perform at the show. The prince was uninformed, not knowing that the latter two Superstars have sadly passed away years ago. So what does this have to do with Sumi? While at this time it is unconfirmed, Meltzer highly believes..

X-Pac 1, 2, 360 Recap – Backlash Analysis, Dunne & Bate Steal Takeover, Nakamura’s In-ring Debut, More!

<p>X-Pac discusses his comments from this past week, when he informed that Val Venis almost became a member of DX at one point. He also informs that Test was very close to becoming a member of the <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/group/" title="group">group</a></strong> as well, but that didn’t happen either.</p><p>He says that when you have a successful group such as nWo, DX or the Bullet Club, you have to be very careful as to who you add to the group so as to not interfere with the chemistry of the other members. However, if the creative team suggests a new member and the other members don’t <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/agree/" title="agree">agree</a></strong>, they have to be able to articulate a good reason as to why the other talent shouldn’t be brought into the group.</p><p></p><p>X-Pac comments on the ongoing issues between The Hardys and IMPACT wrestling. He says that WWE might be interested in the ‘Broken Universe’, but there’s no reason for them to get involved legally if The Hardys are already pursuing legal action against IMPACT. X-Pac admits that if <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/vince-mcmahon" title="Vince McMahon">Vince McMahon</a></strong> really wants to use that gimmick, he might just get fed up and pay IMPACT for it, especially if it’s cheap.</p>

Historically the show has been kicking off right before 11PM because of 205 Live.</p><p>The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that they were informed that there is nothing to this change and they just started listing it at 10:30PM because 205 Live has never been scheduled for one hour.</p><p>Dave Meltzer wrote, <em>“WWE officials said that nothing is changing and they just listed 10:30 p.m. because 205 Live has never been scheduled for one hour and so 10:30 p.m. would be the time meaning a time slot <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/prior/" title="prior">prior</a></strong> to the 11 p.m. time slot.”</em></p>
