Brock Lesnar’s ‘Royal Rumble’ Win: The Right Move For WWE?

Brock Lesnar’s win at the 2022 Royal Rumble on January 29 was not surprising to many WWE fans. After all, he is The Beast Incarnate and a heavily featured star in the company. In fact, if not for Roman Reigns, Lesnar would likely be the undisputed face of WWE. Because of this, a Brock victory on one of WWE’s biggest nights of the year is not all that shocking. But a Brock victory in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match? That’s another matter altogether. Lesnar dropped the WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley earlier in the evening, which opened the door for at least the possibility of a surprise Rumble entry. Reigns’ interference in Lesnar’s match made that surprise a reality. But was Brock’s win the right move? [This post contains video, click to play] Building The Beast Very few Superstars have captured the imagination of WWE fans like Brock Lesnar. He’s been called an anomaly, which fits him perfectly. He’s a country boy at heart, with an easy smile and an awkward disposition. He doesn’t s..

WATCH: Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar From WrestleMania 33

When legends battle, you watch. WWE has recently posted a new video to their YouTube channel, which shows the full match between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg from WrestleMania 33. In the match, Lesnar defeated Goldberg to win the Universal Championship. You can see the match in its entirety below: [This post contains video, click to play] From WWE.com: The Beast Incarnate disposed of his most persistent foil at WrestleMania, ending Goldberg’s miraculous comeback run to take the Universal Championship off the waist of the iconic Superstar and install The Conqueror at the mountaintop for the first time since 2015. It didn’t look like it was headed that way at first, though. Lesnar instantly took Goldberg to Suplex City with three Germans, but the champion stood right back up and responded with two huge Spears. When Brock rolled to the outside to escape Goldberg, he was driven through the barricade with a third Spear. Back in the ring, Brock attempted an F-5, but Goldberg escaped and ..

Redditors Share Their Very “Worst” Ideas For WWE/AEW And It’s Hilarious

Say that again? Wrestling has a long history of outlandish ideas, including Robocop making an appearance, a walking/dancing turkey and a beer swilling redneck from Texas who fancied beating up his boss. Sometimes the zaniest ideas can come from the fans themselves. Redditor u/anonymouspotatoskins recently asked, “What’s the worst idea you’ve had lately but too afraid to share?” Commentors weighed in and thousands of fans upvoted their favorite of the “worst” ideas. Brock Lesnar Channels His Inner IRS IMG Credit: WWE There may be no one more intimidating in the wrestling world than Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate has destroyed almost everyone he has come into contact with over the years, mainly as other worldly strong former amateur wrestling champion. That has worked very well, but what if he had another interest? Lesnar has a reputation of being out to make as much money as possible, and Redditor Tom_Dynamite would like to see that get a sharper focus. He suggests, “Brock becomes..

WATCH: Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan From Survivor Series 2018

The Beard vs. The Beast. WWE has posted a new video to its YouTube channel in which they show the full match between Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryan from Survivor Series 2018. It was a “Champion vs. Champion” match, between the Universal Champion and the WWE Champion respectively. You can see the match in its entirety below: From WWE.com: Thanks to a low-blow behind the back of a frazzled ref, the folk-hero-turned crazy-eyed sadist turned the two-time Universal Champion into a purple, writhing mess. Bryan landed a pair of Running Knees and slowly whittled The Beast Incarnate down until he was able to apply the “Yes!” Lock square in the middle of the ring. It was a remarkable turnaround for Bryan from the early goings of the match, where the five-time World Champion ill-advisedly tried to goad Lesnar into a fight, hoping, perhaps, to rile The Beast up to the point where he might make a mistake. But much like AJ Styles and so many others before him, “almost” was as close as Daniel Bry..

WATCH: Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena From Summerslam 2014

If you enjoy lopsided victories, this video is for you. WWE has posted a new video to its YouTube channel in which they show the full match between John Cena and Brock Lesnar from their WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at Summerslam in 2014. You can see the match in its entirety below: From WWE.com: At a certain point during John Cena’s WWE World Heavyweight Championship defense against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam 2014, members of the WWE Universe had to ask themselves, “When does a match stop being a match and start being a televised assault?” We learned the answers to those questions some 20 minutes into the most one-sided beating of Cena’s WWE career. Two F-5’s, countless punches thrown with bad intentions, and 16 — yes, 16 — German suplexes were rained down upon The Champ by the most dominant force WWE has ever seen before The Beast Incarnate accomplished what he returned to WWE to accomplish: Become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. At first, the crowd almost enjoye..

WATCH: Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar From SummerSlam 2015

That’s funny right there. WWE has posted a new video to its YouTube channel in which they show the full match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker from SummerSlam 2015. This was the first time that they had competed against one another since The Beast ended The Deadman’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania 16 months before. You can see the match in its entirety below: From WWE.com: The record will show that The Beast has been slain, and the demons of The Undertaker have been laid to rest. The reality, though, is more complicated than that. Sixteen months after The Phenom’s life’s work was taken from him by Brock Lesnar, The Deadman found redemption in a confrontation that was deemed “Too Big For WrestleMania.” He defeated The Beast Incarnate through a development that was partially a gift from Heaven and partially some magic of the devil himself, with a hefty helping of rulebook jargon to go with it. Officially, yes, The Undertaker won. Whether Brock Lesnar was truly defeated in ..

WATCH: Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar From Survivor Series 2016

I guarantee you’ll have time to do this. WWE has posted a new video to its YouTube page, in which they show the full match between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg from “Survivor Series” 2016. In his first match in a wrestling ring in 12 years, “The Man” defeated “The Beast” in record time. You can watch the match in its entirety below: From WWE.com: In took only 1-minute, 24-seconds for Goldberg to dominate his match against Brock Lesnar, defeating The Beast Incarnate with two Spears and a Jackhammer and positively stunning the WWE Universe. After a 12-year hiatus from competition, Goldberg proved that he hasn’t lost a single step. With his wife and young son watching him compete live for the first time ever, the proud husband and father avenged his family after weeks of insults from Lesnar and his advocate, Paul Heyman. The quick carnage began shortly after the opening bell rang when Lesnar backed Goldberg into the corner, only to be forcefully shoved back and then leveled with a Spea..

Backstage News on Brock Lesnar’s WWE Return at ‘Hell in a Cell’

Brock Lesnar’s shocking return to WWE at Hell in a Cell is the hottest news in the pro wrestling world right now and with good reason. The Beast Incarnate was believed to be out of Vince McMahon’s company, at least for now. He was supposedly on his way back to the UFC , where he and Daniel Cormier are expected to face off sometime in early 2019. Lesnar’s return ruined the Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman, infuriating many fans in the process. Considering Brock’s penchant for long absences, is there any reason to believe that will change now? Why is he back? Dave Meltzer is reporting on MMA Fighting that Brock Lesnar came back to set up a future Universal title bout. The bout will supposedly happen at a WWE event in Saudi Arabia, probably in early November. This means that current champion Roman Reigns is not safe as many fans previously believed he was. However it does seem that Lesnar is indeed planning a UFC return. Apparently while he is in the..

Brock Lesnar Returns At 2018 Hell In A Cell

Thought that the beast was gone? Think again. Tonight at the 2018 edition of Hell In A Cell, Brock Lesnar made his shocking return to the company. He entered the cell during the main event match for the Universal Championship between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman. The last time that The Beast was mentioned on WWE programming, his advocate, Paul Heyman was being told that he would not receive a Universal Championship rematch at Hell In A Cell. You can see a clip of that below: [This post contains video, click to play] From WWE.com: The Beast Incarnate, who lost the Universal Title to Reigns at SummerSlam (and had been denied the rematch he wanted at WWE Hell in a Cell), kicked open the door and attacked both champion and challenger, reducing a chunk of a table to splinters across their backs before laying both out with F-5s — Reigns landing on top of Strowman. Paul Heyman, meanwhile, incapacitated Foley with what looked like pepper spray to the face, leaving the replacement ref n..

Roman Reigns “Suspended” By Vince McMahon

As the old saying goes: “don’t cross the boss.” Tonight on “Raw,” Kurt Angle opened the show by saying that Brock Lesnar would not be showing up on the show tonight, despite being advertised. This lead to Roman Reigns coming out and confronting not only Angle, but eventually, Vince McMahon himself. You can see a clip of the altercation below: [This post contains video, click to play] This would lead to a closed door conversation between McMahon and Reigns, with Vince saying that he has “temporarily suspended” Reigns for his actions. You can see that clip below: [This post contains video, click to play] WWE.com has posted an article regarding the suspension: Per WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon, Roman Reigns is temporarily suspended, effective immediately. Why Brock Lesnar Must Become A Free Agent

Rumours have been circulating this week that Brock Lesnar will return to UFC. There is also an accompanying rumour that Lesnar will not resign his contract after Wrestlemania 34. Even if these are simply rumours WWE and Vince McMahon must be scared. Lesnar is sports entertainment’s biggest draw bar none. He is a mega star and a huge asset to the company. However, his career is winding down and there is still infinite value in Lesnar over the next year or two. His value will be used best though if he becomes a free agent and here’s why.

More Dream Matches

Samoa Joe vs Brock Lesnar was a legitimate dream match. WWE capitalised on this feud and booked it perfectly from Extreme Rules all the way to Great Balls of Fire. This feud proved Joe to be a superstar and also that Brock Lesnar dream feuds are a necessity. Dream matches with Brock Lesnar create superstars. They give wrestlers a career defining match as well fans exactly what they are desperate for.

That said, there are not that many dream feuds left for Lesnar on RAW. The only real one is Finn Balor which is as dream worthy as Samoa Joe was. Behind Balor is – at a stretch of the word dream – Bray Wyatt and even Braun Strowman. These feuds must happen in Lesnar’s time left in WWE without a doubt, particularly with Balor. On Smackdown Live however there are more. Three legitimate dream matches face Lesnar on Smackdown Live. Kevin Owens, AJ Styles and of course there is also Shinsuke Nakamura. On a smaller level there is also stars like Corbin and Zayn who would likely be excellent opponents for Lesnar.

Heyman can simply announce the Beast Incarnate will do what he wants and go where he wants. This opens the door for so many feuds and matches that WWE must capitalise on. Especially now that Lesnar is likely in the very end of his WWE career. With Lesnar fighting only a limited number of times a year, now is the time to do this. If not for the wrestlers opposite Lesnar, then for us the fans.

It’d be a good fight.”

Would you folks like to see the Bruiserweight go at it against the Beast Incarnate himself? Tell us in the comments!

Here’s my take, ok, I’m assuming that they wanna go Reigns and Brock at WrestleMania. I personally would have gone Brock and Joe at WrestleMania because it’s different, it is fresh, it is believable.
