Go Faster: WWE Money In The Bank Allegedly Almost Shut Down By Governor Of Connecticut

That would have been different. Three years ago, the Coronavirus pandemic turned the world upside down and things have only recently returned to mostly normal. There were several changes made to almost everything around the world, including WWE. The company kept going during the pandemic, but it turns out that one show almost did not get to wrap up. During a recent live signing with East Coast Autograph Auctions, former WWE star Nia Jax revealed that the Governor of Connecticut almost shut the match down, with police coming to the building. John Laurinaitis Threatened To Fire A WWE Trainer Over Wearing Sweatpants

It’s a corporate thing. WWE is a rather large company and the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. They have their headquarters at Titan Towers in Stamford, Connecticut, which is run like any othe corporate office would be. This can make for some slightly strange issues though and now a former WWE star is explaining how serious things got for him at one point. During an appearance on Story Time With Dutch Mantell, former WWE coach Tom Prichard told a story about wearing workout gear to WWE headquarters. Prichard said that he felt it was appropriate since he was an in-ring coach. However, former WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis said that he needed Prichard to dress more professionally. Knowing that Laurinaitis would be out of the office the following Monday, Prichard showed up in his workout clothes again. Laurinaitis even called in to check on what Prichard was wearing and threatened to fire him for not dressing appropriately, resulting in Prichard changing. Opinion..

Paige VanZant Explains Why She Chose AEW Over WWE

What could have been. AEW has brought in several wrestlers throughout its brief history, with several of them coming from different backgrounds. Some of them have not even come from wrestling, which makes can make for some interesting situations. That was the case earlier this month when a mixed martial artist was brought into the fold, but she could have had a very different story. Earlier this month, Paige VanZant officially signed with AEW, following multiple appearances with the company. VanZant appeared on Throwing Down With Renee and Meisha and explained that she had a meeting at WWE headquarters last year about the possibility of signing with them instead. However, WWE had a “different plan” for her, though she did not explain what it was. VanZant said that she was happy that AEW would let her continue with MMA and are knuckle boxing while also wrestling for them. VIDEO: Triple H Back At Work After Cardiac Event

Welcome back? There are a lot of people who make decisions in WWE but some of them are a lot more well known than others. A change in WWE’s higher up management can mean a lot for the company and that was the case, at least temporarily, earlier this year, when an executive had some health issues. Now they are back to work, at least in one kind of capacity. Back in September, WWE COO Triple H suffered a cardiac event and has not been away recovering since. This week, a pair of videos have been posted to TikTok, showing Triple H and various other WWE executives, including Vince McMahon, touring what will become the future WWE headquarters. Update On WWE’s Plans For Another Big Change

They’re still changing. We are in the middle of one of the biggest transitional periods that WWE has ever seen and those changes are likely to continue. The changes so far have shaken things up in such a huge way and some of them have brought longstanding eras to an end. That will be the case again next year, but it is not going to be in an area many fans will get to see. Back in March of 2019, WWE announced plans to move from its longtime home base of Titan Towers in Stanford, Connecticut. The move was delayed due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but now the plans have been updated. The Stamford Advocate is reporting that WWE is planning to move into its new headquarters in downtown Stamford in late 2022. Money In The Bank 2020 Preview, Predictions And Thoughts

It’s time for another unique one as we have Money in the Bank split between the WWE Headquarters in Connecticut and down at the Performance Center. Depending on which reports you believe, the ladder match (Is it matches or match?) may be taking place throughout the show, because just having the match as usual is too simple or something I guess. Let’s get to it. Kickoff Show: Jeff Hardy vs. Cesaro There aren’t a lot of good things going on in WWE at the moment but they are doing an excellent job with making Hardy’s return a big deal. Hardy is a living legend and treating him like one is a very good idea. Above all else (and this will come into play later), if you weren’t watching twelve years ago, you might not know of Hardy’s mega singles run. Final Lineup For Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match

And then there were two more. We are coming up on Money in the Bank and that means it’s time to climb ladders. This year’s edition is going to be even more unique as the whole match is taking place at WWE Headquarters, meaning the briefcases will be suspended above a ring on the roof of the building. That could make things more complicated, but now we know a little more about the show. As has been the case for a few years now, there will be one men’s and one women’s ladder match. This year’s editions are going to be a bit smaller than usual, with only six entrants per match. That gives the match a little more run to work and that’s a good thing given how messy these things can get. A lot of the lineups are ready in advance and now we know who will be in one of them. Location of 2020 Money In The Bank Matches Revealed

It will be the most unique match in a long time. It was revealed on tonight’s episode of Smackdown that the participants for the Money in the Bank ladder match will have to work extra hard in order to grab the coveted briefcase. According to WWE.com: This year’s WWE Money In The Bank Men’s and Women’s Match participants will have an even more unique challenge ahead of them than usual. The match begins on the ground floor of WWE Headquarters, but the briefcases – containing contracts for a championship match anytime, anyplace – will be hanging all the way up on the roof of the corporate tower. How Much Money WWE Saved Through Roster Cuts

That was kind of the point. On Wednesday, WWE underwent one of its biggest shakeups in history, with nearly thirty wrestlers being released from the main roster alone, plus several producers being furloughed and several NXT wrestlers being let go as well. It changed a lot of things about the company and several people were not happy. WWE seemed to be though, as they have accomplished a goal. As you probably figured out, the cuts were designed to save WWE some money. That might not sound like the nicest thing in the world given how much money WWE has and also brags about having, but with so many revenue streams cut off at the moment, it isn’t exactly a surprise. The End Of An Era. WWE Making Major Move.

The end of an era. WWE has a complicated history. There are various things that they have done over the years that have become iconic and others that are never to be discussed again. Throughout the history, there are a few things that are able to stand the test of time and have never really changed. That’s the case with a certain place for the company, but now even that is changing. As announced in a press release, WWE is moving to a new headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut and selling Titan Towers. The company will be moving to a new location in the same city in early 2021, with a sixteen and a half year lease starting on July 1 of this year. Part of the idea of the move is to have the production studios and corporate offices under one roof, as opposed to the separate buildings they are in now. It looks like the once “TNA” name is once <a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/again/" title="again">again</a> getting a new name change.With the news of the merger between TNA/Impact Wrestling and Global <a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/force/" title="Force">Force</a> Wrestling, Tenessean.com <a href="http://www.tennessean.com/story/money/2017/06/30/tna-wrestling-rebrands-gfw-eyes-global-expansion/435802001/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">reports</a> that this will eventually lead to the company being re-branded as GFW (Global Force Wrestling) moving forward.The belief is that their weekly television show that airs on Pop TV will keep the “Impact” name and the headquarters will remain in Nashville, TN.
