Crossover: Former WWE Star Trying His Hand(s) At Boxing

Call it a crossover. Wrestlers receive a lot of criticism due to the pre-planned results of their matches, but it does not take away from the athleticism. The wrestlers that can get to the top of the industry are incredible athletes and some of the best you will find in any sport. It can be interesting to see what happens when wrestlers try their hand at another sport and that is the case again. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: WWE Unveils John Cena As WWE2K23 Cover Star John Hennigan, formerly known as John Morrison/Johnny Impact/Johnny Elite etc., has been announced as one of the participants in Creator Clash 2, a charity boxing event. WATCH: Shotzi, Scarlett Bordeaux And Harley Cameron Release New Music Video

That might draw some attention. Wrestlers are a lot of things, including athletes and storytellers, but ultimately they are entertainers in one form or another. This can take a variety of forms, with wrestlers often trying out different gimmicks to see what they can make work. Sometimes their talents spill over outside of the ring and that is what some WWE stars have done again. WWE has released a music video of Shotzi, Scarlett Bordeaux and Harley Cameron singing I Put A Spell On You from the movie Hocus Pocus. The three have released music before, with Cameron as the featured star and Shotzi and Bordeaux as featured performers. The song has not been acknowledged on WWE TV and Shotzi and Bordeaux have never appeared together in any way. This is pretty awesome. Check out the song plus another video from the trio: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is one of those things that you do not expect to see but it turned out..

VIDEO: The Former IIConics Release New Music Video

That’s one way to keep things going. One of the biggest stories in wrestling this year has been the massive amount of WWE roster changes. Several wrestlers have been released from the company, many of whom were quite the surprise. This has led to fallout in the form of wrestlers signing elsewhere, and now two such wrestlers are doing something fairly unique. The IInspiration, formerly known as the IIconics, have released a new music video, featuring the two of them in a song, also called The IInspiration, by Harley Cameron. The song features the two of them singing and dancing with Cameron along with some male background dancers. This comes soon after the two announced their signing with Impact Wrestling, where they will challenge for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles at Bound For Glory on October 23. It’s certainly different. WWE Star Issues Bounty On Shelton Benjamin

You don’t hear about that very often. There are certainly angles that take place more than once in wrestling, but only after a long time has passed. That was the case with the bounty, as Harley Race offered thousands of dollars to anyone who would take out Ric Flair before Starrcade 1983. Triple H did the same thing with Goldberg in 2003, but now we are getting a slightly different version of the idea. This week’s Monday Night Raw featured the return of the Hurt Business, as Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin rejoined Bobby Lashley. The reformed team attempted to cost Big E. the WWE Title but the New Day made the save. WWE star Mia Yim has tweeted about the situation, offering any member of the New Day $20 to take out Benjamin. New Day has yet to respond to the offer. The new day Vs hurt business…. I love it!!! Which one wanna take my $20 to take out Shelton?! @WWEBigE @AustinCreedWins @TrueKofi #WWERaw — The HBIC (@MiaYim) September 28, 2021 This is a different one. Check out a..

A New Career? Former WWE Stars Releasing Song

That’s a different one. There have been all kinds of superstars coming and going from WWE and it can be difficult to keep track of what everyone is doing. It can be even harder when some of those wrestlers aren’t on television anymore, but some of them have come up with ways to keep their names out there. Two of them have a pretty unique idea of their own coming soon. Cassie Lee and Jesse McKay, formerly known as the IIconics, will be featured on an upcoming song, soon to be released on Spotify. The song, called The Iinspiration (the team’s new name), is by Harley Cameron and will feature Lee and McKay. The team was released from WWE earlier this year and have yet to appear for any other wrestling promotion. It is not clear when they will be wrestling again. ‘The IInspiration’ by Harley Cameron feat. Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee is available for Pre-Save!! ? CM Punk Says He Would Have Died Had He Stayed With WWE

That sounds bad. There have been a lot of important moments in the wrestling world this year but there may have been nothing bigger than CM Punk debuting for AEW last month. It was a heck of a moment and his debut promo made things even better. Without naming names, Punk spoke about his time in WWE and how poorly it went. Now we are learning a bit more about just how bad things were. Punk discussed his time in WWE in more detail during an interview on Busted Open Radio. During the interview, Punk talked about how WWE rarely gave him time to heal up from injuries and how he would continue to push forward, often asking himself what Harley Race would do. He said that had he not left the company, he would have died as he would have kept going no matter what. When Punk left, he was in mental, physical, spiritual and emotional pain and needed to get away. Punk’s final appearance at a WWE event came at the 2014 Royal Rumble. It seems to have done him well. Check out Punk’s time in AEW and o..

WWE Has Some Brand New Royalty (And Someone Cried)

The one true king. There are a lot of titles in wrestling these days and some of them are a lot more prestigious than others. Sometimes things can be made even more confusing when you factor in unofficial titles, which can also be defended despite not officially counting. That was the case again this week, and now someone has something new to wrap around their head. This week on SmackDown, Shinsuke Nakamura defeated King Corbin to become the One True King of WWE in a match billed as the Battle For The Crown. The match was the fifth between the two in six weeks with Nakamura winning the series 3-2. As a result, Nakamura gets to keep Corbin’s crown. Nakamura was crowned King after the match as Corbin cried. It is not clear if the crown will be defended going forward or if Corbin will still be referred to as King Corbin, a title he has held since September 2019. WWE previously had an unofficial King’s Crown title in the 1980s, with names such as Harley Race, Jim Duggan, Haku and Randy S..

CM Punk Allegedly Consumed Alcohol

Bruce Prichard made the following remarks on his latest podcast installment about the time CM Punk consumed alcohol despite lving a “straight edge” lifestyle:

“I looked at him and said, ‘so you don’t drink, you don’t do drugs, you don’t do anything?’ [CM Punk] says ‘no, but I’m not a prude either.’ I said: ‘okay, explain that.’ So he explained that he really didn’t want to judge others that did choose that lifestyle and this is what got him over with me automatically. He was in Kansas City or St. Louis or somewhere and it was Harley Race’s birthday and he was in a camp; Harley’s camp and they were out at a restaurant bar type thing and they wanted to do. Everybody got shots for Harley’s birthday. Now Punk doesn’t drink, don’t do drugs, but he took a shot out of respect for Harley Race.”

“And he goes, ‘you know, Harley asked me to do it, one shot’s not gonna kill me. I’m not gonna go get hammered, I took a shot out of respect for Harley Race and for whatever reason I just thought that was cool. That just kinda showed the love and passion he had for the business and respect for the old-timers. He didn’t have to and it would have been fine.”

Click here for the full podcast.

There is only one thing to do and that is to settle things in the ring. When he was ready to put him away but he would not go away. Brian says he is the man with the plan and the master. Corey mentions that they will be in a Submission Match and he asks about how this will be the biggest challenge for Neville. Neville says this is an asinine question. He represents the traditions laid down by the greatest superstars, the cruiserweights. He does not think of showboats, people who take advantage of what they do in the ring for a little applause.
