LISTEN: Enzo Amore Releases Tribute Song To Hacksaw Jim Duggan

That’s a special tribute. Music has played a big part in wrestling for decades as the right theme song can make or break a wrestler. That can be easier said than done as picking a proper song can be difficult. At times there are wrestlers who are able to put together their own music, but this time around a wrestler has put together a song for one of the more recognizable legends in wrestling history. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Safe At Home: Hacksaw Jim Duggan Explains How He Stopped An Intruder At Gunpoint Enzo Amore, under his musical name of Real1, has released a song called Hacksaw, a tribute to WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan. The lyrics include a repeated reference to Duggan waving the flag and standing up for his country. There is nothing to suggest that Duggan was involved in the creation of the song in any way. Amore has released music since he left WWE and performed his own theme song during his time with the company. It’s a nice idea. Check out the song, plus the two in t..

No Chance: Here Is What Vince McMahon Was “Vehemently Against” In WWE Contracts

He wasn’t a fan. This year has seen all kinds of changes throughout WWE but the biggest change of them all has been the retirement of Vince McMahon. After decades of running the company, McMahon announced his retirement back in July, throwing everything out of whack. There have been several changes since McMahon left, and now we know one more thing that seems to have changed as a result of his departure. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: One More Run? 37 Year Old Former WWE Star Likes Idea Of Facing Roman Reigns At WrestleMania According to Fightful Select, McMahon was against the idea of “no cut” clauses in WWE contracts. These clauses, which guaranteed that a wrestler would not be released from their contract early, were something McMahon was “vehemently against”. New co-CEO Nick Khan is said to be open to the idea, though there is no word on if WWE is including them more frequently. It was also said that the lack of clauses did not cost WWE any free agents, but some did inquire about the sit..

It Would Be A Record: WWE Hall Of Famer Wants To Return After 21 Years For Royal Rumble

One more on the list? We are about a month away from the 2023 Royal Rumble and that means it is time to start getting ready for one of the more complicated nights of the year. The Royal Rumble event will be featured around two of the show’s namesake matches, meaning sixty wrestlers will be needed. Some of them will be brought in from outside of WWE and one is willing to throw his hat in the ring. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE’s Plans For Toxic Attraction Before Mandy Rose’s Release During a recent interview with the Cheap Heat Productions podcast, WWE Hall Of Famer Bushwhacker Luke was asked about returning to WWE for the 2023 Royal Rumble. A Way To Go: WWE Hall Of Famer Thinks 44 Year Old Could End Retirement Soon

He has an idea. There are some great wrestling stars who are no longer active wrestlers. That does not mean their careers are over though, as there are other roles that they can fill once their in-ring career is over. However, there are still some moments where an ex-wrestler is the perfect choice to put back in the ring, and now one legend thinks that might be the right move. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Safe At Home: Hacksaw Jim Duggan Explains How He Stopped An Intruder At Gunpoint The end of this week’s Monday Night Raw featured Bobby Lashley shoving a referee who he blamed for a loss to Seth Rollins. As a result, WWE executive Adam Pearce came to the ring and fired Lashley, only to reinstate him the next day. During a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall Of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley suggested that Pearce could face Lashley in a match. Pearce, 44 years old and a former five time NWA World Champion, retired from full time competition in 2014 but wrestled two matches for WWE in 202..

Safe At Home: Hacksaw Jim Duggan Explains How He Stopped An Intruder At Gunpoint

Another kind of match. There are a lot of ways to describe a wrestler but one that would come up as often as any other might be tough. Wrestlers are athletes who have to make you believe they are in a real fight, which can be rather tricky at times. On occasion, they have to do something very legitimate, and that was the case in a much more serious situation for a wrestling legend. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Back Soon: AEW Star Reveals Recent Surgery During a new interview with Wrestlinginc.com, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Duggan revealed that a man broke into his home on December 8 at around 6:45pm, armed with a gun. Duggan took the man down and took the gun from him, holding him at gunpoint until the Kershaw County Sheriff’s Department arrived to arrest the man. Duggan said that the intruder was frightened as people from a nearby home were attempting to kill him and entered the home after pounding on several other nearby doors. Following the arrest, Duggan declined to press charges against t..

SmackDown Results – October 21, 2022

Smackdown Date: October 21, 2022 Location: Huntington Center, Toledo, Ohio Commentators: Michael Cole, Wade Barrett We are just over two weeks away from Crown Jewel and that means Logan Paul is back tonight. That means we might be in for another kind of weird segment, but hopefully Paul Heyman will be there to walk him through it. The feud feels rather cold going into the match and I don’t know how to fix that. Let’s get to it. Sheamus vs. Solo Sikoa The rest of the Brawling Brutes, Sami Zayn and the Usos are here too. During the Brutes’ entrance, Bray Wyatt hacks the feed but commentary doesn’t acknowledge it this time. They hit each other hard to start and Sikoa is already needing a breather on the floor. Back in and Sheamus knocks him down again, setting up an armbar. Sikoa fights up and hits a spinwheel kick before sending Sheamus outside and we take a break. Back with Sikoa hitting a running Umaga attack in the corner but another attempt is cut off by a clotheslines. Sheamus, f..

WATCH: WWE Hall Of Famer Explains Recent Bizarre Twitter Activity

There’s a good reason. Wrestling has changed a lot over the years, especially in the last few years. One of the biggest ways has been the rise of social media, as wrestlers are now able to communicate with their fans like never before. This is a great way to interact with the people but not everything works out for the best. That was the situation this weekend when things got a bit weird. Over the weekend, WWE Hall of Famer Teddy Long went on a blocking spree on Twitter, cutting off a large portion of wrestlers who followed him on the platform. Several wrestlers seemed surprised by the situation and Long changed his account to private. Long later released a video, announcing that his Twitter had indeed been hacked and that he didn’t want anyone to be mad at him. He also promised to explain more about the situation later. Now hold on a minute, playa! pic.twitter.com/Ni6gxWRojn — Samuel Guevara (@sammyguevara) September 25, 2022 I am!! Haha what is this teddy purge about? https://t.c..

The Important Bell: Excellent News On WWE Legend’s Battle Against Cancer

That is some great news. There have been some famous names throughout wrestling history and some of them are among the most likable athletes that you will ever see. That makes it all the sadder when something bad happens to them, but sometimes that kind of story can have a happy ending. Thankfully that seems to be the case again with one of the most memorable stars of the last few decades. WWE Hall Of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan has shared a video showing him ringing a bell at a hospital, meaning that he has completed cancer treatment and is now cancer free. Duggan had announced in May that his cancer had returned after having previously beaten it in the 1990s. There is no word on when Duggan will be able to return to his public appearances. He last wrestled in May 2019. This is awesome. Check out Duggan ringing the special bell: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: You don’t get to see something like this very often and it is still one of the most special moments that y..

WATCH: Mick Foley Reveals Extortion Attempt Against Him, Social Media Hacked

That’s a thing that can happen. Wrestling has changed a lot in recent years and those are not changed that can be reversed. One of the biggest changes has come through social media, as wrestlers are now more accessible than they ever have been before. That has several benefits but also several downsides, one of which was learned firsthand recently by a wrestling legend. Over the weekend, WWE Hall Of Famer Mick Foley announced via Facebook that his Twitter had been hacked, with the hacker attempting to extort money from him. As a result, Foley asked fans not to interact with his Twitter until he told them via video that the account was back under his control. Foley has since released a video announcing that he was able to regain control without having to pay the hacker. This is good to hear. Check out Foley’s announcement with some more details about what happened: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is something that unfortunately happens every now and then and ..

Possible Reasons For Pete Dunne’s WWE Name Change (And They’re Bad)

There is a reason for that. Having the right name is one of the most important things that a wrestler can have. The wrong name can cause a problem for any wrestler as they might not be taken as seriously as they are supposed to be. Sometimes you see someone have their names changed in a way that seems to be a bit odd. That was the case this week, and now we might know what happened. Pete Dunne made his SmackDown debut this week as the new associate of Sheamus and Ridge Holland, though he is now known as Butch. According to Fightful Select, the speculation is that the name is designed to be a Bushwhackers reference, as Holland’s real first name is Luke, who teamed with Butch as the Bushwhackers. In addition, a WWE alumnus felt that the name was a reference to the Butch character on the Little Rascals shorts, whose original run ended in 1944. Opinion: I have no idea why WWE decided to change Dunne’s name and I think that might be for the best. This feels like their recent change from W..

VIDEO: Jim Duggan’s Incredible Health Update

That’s what a tough guy would do. Wrestlers are superheroes in a lot of ways, in that they are out there in front people doing ridiculous and often amazing things every single week. It can be easy to get behind one of the wrestlers and cheer them to no end, but there are always going to be things that happen to them behind the scenes. That was the case with one wrestling legend, but now there is a great update. Hacksaw Jim Duggan has released a new update on Twitter, announcing that he is officially cancer free. Earlier this year, Duggan revealed that he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer and had undergone surgery. The cancer was contained in the prostate and completely removed, and everything else was clear. This was Duggan’s second round of cancer, after he previously beat kidney cancer in the late 1990s. This is great to hear. Check out the announcement, plus some of Duggan’s career: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This..

NXT Results – November 16, 2021

NXT Date: November 16, 2021 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Beth Phoenix, Vic Joseph, Wade Barrett We’re back to whatever NXT has become but this time it’s all about WarGames. Somehow NXT thinks they have a matchup that will work there, though I’m almost scared to know who is going to be included. Maybe we find that out tonight, plus get what should be an obvious setup for Breakker vs. Ciampa II. Let’s get to it. Tony D’Angelo vs. Dexter Lumis Fallout from D’Angelo suggesting Lumis was about to get whacked. Lumis has a drawing for D’Angelo, showing him asleep in a school of fish. D’Angelo bails away to start and gets caught with a Thesz press. Back up and D’Angelo gets in a few shots of his own to take over and we hit the chinlock. Lumis fights up again but D’Angelo snaps his throat across the top. With Lumis staggered, D’Angelo grabs the easel the drawing is sitting on, which is quickly taken away. That’s all D’Angelo needs as he pokes Lumis in the..

WWE Hall Of Famer Announces Prostate Cancer, Undergoing Surgery

There is never a good way to put this. Wrestlers are larger than life figures but they are real people when the cameras go off. That means they are going to have things that take place in their lives that are not the best situations in the world, and unfortunately it seems that we are seeing another such problem. This time though, it could be about as serious as it can get. WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan has revealed that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. In the video announcement, Duggan says that he is undergoing emergency surgery on Friday October 29. This comes in the same month that Duggan had another emergency surgery for an undisclosed issue. Duggan has previously beaten kidney cancer in the 1990s. Duggan is quite the legend. Check out his announcement, plus some happier times: [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is never good to he..

WWE Hall Of Famer Undergoes Emergency Surgery

That does not sound good. Wrestlers are a unique group of people as they are regularly on television, where they portray larger than life characters. This can make for some unique situations as it can occasionally be hard to determine where the characters end and where the real people begin. Unfortunately those people have their own share of problems as well, which was the case again this week. Debra Duggan, the wife of wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan has posted a message to Facebook showing Jim in a hospital bed. The post reveals that Jim is undergoing emergency surgery, though there is no word on what is wrong with him. Duggan has a history of health problems, including heart issues as well as beating kidney cancer in the 1990s. Duggan is a legend. VIDEO: WWE Star Makes Bold Claims About His Place In The Company

That’s quite the bold statement. There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster today and as a result, there are only so many ways to stand out. Unfortunately that means a lot of talented wrestlers are left trying to get some attention, which can be rather frustrating for the fans. It can also be frustrating for the wrestlers and one of them has something to say about his situation. Monday Night Raw’s Mustafa Ali was a guest on this week’s edition of the Bump and spoke about his career in WWE. This included a discussion of the hacker gimmick, which Ali felt had some legs, as well as a suggestion that it could return someday. Ali also said that he was the most unheard voice in the history of WWE as well as the most underutilized talent the company has ever seen. He also asked where his justice was and said all he needed was an opportunity. Ali is scheduled to face Mansoor at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia later this month. There’s a lot to this. Check out the full show (with Ali’s time b..

Update On Drake Maverick’s WWE Status

All for naught? Back in April, WWE released a ton of wrestlers at the very same time in a rather controversial move. The company had regularly bragged about how much cash they had on hand to make it through the Coronavirus outbreak, but then they hacked their roster anyway, all in the name of cutting costs. Some of the names were more interesting than others, with one in particular being pretty eye catching. On the day the releases were announced, Drake Maverick released an incredibly emotional video, talking about how wrestling meant the world to him. He was scheduled to take part in a tournament to crown an Interim Cruiserweight Champion and would get to take part in his previously announced matches. Now that those matches are through, we might know what is next for Maverick. During this week’s NXT, Maverick defeated Kushida in a tournament match, leaving he, Kushida and Jake Atlas in a three way tie on top of Group A with no matches left. As a result, the three will meet in a trip..

VIDEO: WWE Storyline Takes Surprise Turn (WrestleMania Implications)

That’s a step forward. I know things have been a little all over the place lately and WWE’s main television shows have been little more than background noise and great promos, but there are still storylines going on. Some of these started before everything changed and they still need some kind of a payoff. While we did not get a payoff this week, we did get a big step forward. Over the last few weeks on WWE television, the shows’ video feeds have been hacked and a circle of lights have appeared. No one seemed to notice and little has come of it so far. It is not clear who it is, but there is a theory that it might be Mustafa Ali as his glove has a similar circle on the back. This week’s SmackDown did not reveal who was behind the hacking, but we did see something. It’s a step forward. Check out what happened to move things in a different direction: Late in the show, Dolph Ziggler was attacking Tucker when the feed was hacked again. This time the phrase “The Truth Will Be Heard” app..

Impact Wrestling Results – March 24, 2020

Impact Wrestling Date: March 24, 2020 Location: Sam’s Town Live, Las Vegas, Nevada Commentators: Don Callis, Josh Matthews It’s the final night in Las Vegas before we head over towards Atlanta for what is now the last set of TV tapings available. We’re on the way towards Rebellion and that likely means a lot more “show is canceled” graphics. It’s not like they have much of a better choice so it’s as good as they can do here. Let’s get to it. The opening recap looks at Sami Callihan being revealed as the Realityislost hacker and attacking Ken Shamrock, who had just been announced as the newest Hall of Fame inductee. Opening sequence. Willie Mack vs. Chris Bey vs. Acey Romero vs. Daga vs. Rohit Raju vs. Jake Crist vs. Cousin Jake vs. Trey One fall to a finish and the winner is the #1 contender to the X-Division Title. It’s a brawl to start and soon it’s Romero running over Bey and Crist on his own. A backsplash crushes Bey but a double missile dropkick puts Romero on the floor. That ..
