Impact Wrestling Results – January 12, 2023

Impact Wrestling Date: January 12, 2023 Location: Charles F. Dodge City Center, Pembroke Pines, Florida Commentators: Matthew Rehwoldt, Tom Hannifan It’s the go home show for Hard To Kill and since Impact does their pay per views on Fridays, the show is tomorrow night. Alexander knows Ray is going after everyone he cares about and they will be in his mind at Hard To Kill. Ray thinks Alexander has given away his hand because Ray is in his head. Rampage Date: August 20, 2021 Location: United Center, Chicago, Illinois Commentators: Jim Ross, Mark Henry, Excalibur, Taz So this is a weird show as there is a big surprise, but everyone knows exactly what it is going to be. AEW has all but said what is going to happen here and that just leaves the question of how it goes down. There are a few ways to do that and I’m rather excited about what is going to happen. Several Potential Changes As SmackDown Live Goes To FOX

SmackDown Live is officially heading to FOX in the future. We have compiled a number of changes that WWE is expected to make for the new Network. Some of the first announcements or rumors we’ve heard in regards to FOX taking SmackDown Live is that WWE will be adding an extra hour to the show, changing the air dates from Tuesdays to Fridays. If this is to be believed, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio discussed how WWE may be forced to deal with the changes during WrestleMania week. This is because WrestleMania week usually includes the PPV itself, NXT: TakeOver, Raw and the Hall of Fame. Here is what Meltzer had to say: “I wonder about the idea of a SmackDown Live on a Friday before WrestleMania. I guess you could do that as the go-home show Obviously the NXT [TakeOver] will move to Saturday and the Hall Of Fame would move to Thursday or Tuesday, I’m going to guess Thursday because if it’s on Tuesday everyone’s going to go home and it will die.” This would still be a pro..

Report: WWE Reaches Deal With Fox To Air Smackdown In 2019, Worth $1 Billion, Maybe Moving To Fridays

Smackdown may have a new home next year. As reported by ESPN, Fox and WWE have reached a "massive" deal to air Smackdown. WWE has been looking for a new network to air both Smackdown and Raw and there had been talks of bringing both to NBC but according to the report NBC Universal is focused on Monday Night Raw. Even though ratings for Smackdown have been declining since the Superstar Shakeup, WWE programming is nearly always in the top five cable original shows year round on Monday and Tuesdays. The live aspect and sports related nature of Smackdown has helped support those ratings and is only pushed down the rankings by live sports playoffs. The report said the Smackdown deal is set to begin in October of 2019. In another report by The Wrap, it was said Smackdown would be broadcast on Fridays and on Fox instead of the rumored Fox Sports.
