Success! Chris Jericho And Company Win Gold In A Rather Different Way

Put it in the trophy case. There are a lot of very talented wrestlers in the world, as getting in the ring and having a match is quite the impressive feat. It takes a lot of skills to make something like that work and you can see some of the best in the world do it every week on AEW TV. This time though, one of AEW’s top stars has accomplished something impressive of his own, and it has nothing to do with wrestling. AEW’s Chris Jericho has announced that his band Fozzy’s Judas has earned a gold record, meaning that it has sold five hundred thousand copies. Jericho made the announcement in a tweet and thanked everyone who helped the record reach the milestone. Judas has served as Jericho’s theme music in AEW since his debut and the live audience sings along with it during Jericho’s entrance. For 22 years I’ve heard all the cutdowns & insults about @FOZZYROCK. Well now, WE can all stand behind what our band and hundreds of thousands of our fans worldwide have always known… FOZZY ROCKS!..

Chris Jericho Opens Up About Major Medical Issue That Led To Hospitalization

That could have been worse. There are all kinds of injuries that can put a wrestler on the shelf and you never know how bad things can be until you get a better diagnosis. As many times as you can see a wrestler get hurt in the ring, there are other times when something goes wrong that you might never see. That was the case last year, and it turns out that things were a lot more serious than people realized. Last year, Chris Jericho was hospitalized during a UK tour during a tour of England with his band Fozzy. Jericho opened up about the situation during his Talk Is Jericho podcast, revealing that he was suffering from blood clots and had a pulmonary embolism (blood clot in the lungs). Jericho talked about performing at a show in Newcastle, England and having trouble breathing. This led to a hospitalization and several appearances being canceled as Jericho recovered. The clots have since been removed, allowing a full recovery. Opinion: This is one of those things that is absolutely ..

VIDEO: Top Star Returns At AEW Dynamite, Teases New Feud

Welcome home. Wrestlers leaving a promotion can be a problem at times but they have no choice but to go away for one reason or another. Some of these are not as serious as others, as a wrestler might need to take care of something outside of the ring. Even if that is the case, their return can still be pretty special, which seemed to be the case during a return this week. Chris Jericho made his return during this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. Jericho ran in to clear out 2.0 and Daniel Garcia, who had defeated Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz. After the match, Garcia hit Santana in the face with the ring bell, drawing out Jericho for the save. Kingston did not care for Jericho’s actions and the two had to be separated. Jericho had been missing since the December 1 Dynamite due to going on tour with his band Fozzy. Jericho is a big deal in AEW. VIDEO: Chris Jericho Out Of The Hospital, Gives Interesting Update

He’s out. Wrestlers are rather different than the majority of the fans who watch them, but there are quite a few similarities as well. Just like the fans, wrestlers have their own share of medical issues, some of which can be rather serious. Something can flare up out of nowhere, which was the case last week. Now though, we have a positive update on what has happened. Earlier this week, AEW’s Chris Jericho was hospitalized due to a non-Coronavirus related issue. However, Jericho has since updated his status via Twitter, revealing that he has been released from the hospital. In a YouTube video, Jericho has announced that his band Fozzy will continue its tour, albeit without him singing. Instead, their upcoming concert will feature the fans singing their two most famous songs as well as the debut of their latest album, Boombox, being played live. There is no word on when Jericho will be able to sing or wrestle again. Back on the streets…. pic.twitter.com/xAaJV6VYzh — Chris Jericho (@I..

Chris Jericho Hospitalized, Fozzy Concert Canceled

Get well soon. There are all kinds of reasons for a wrestler to miss a show and some of them are a lot more serious than others. You never know what might be taking place to cause someone to be gone and sometimes it can be rather scary to hear what is wrong with them. That is the case again now, even if it is with a wrestler who is not in the ring at the moment. Swansea Sin City has announced via Facebook that Friday’s Fozzy concert has been canceled due to lead singer Chris Jericho has been hospitalized with a treatable medical issue. Details were not revealed, other than that the issue was not Coronavirus related. There is no word on what this will mean for Jericho’s AEW work, though he was written off of television with an injury to allow him to go on the concert tour. Jericho can do a lot of things when he is healthy. Chris Jericho Taking Some Time Away From AEW TV Due To Fozzy Tour

Back in a bit. There are a lot of stars on the AEW roster but some of them are bigger than others. The company has its share of legends who have been around for a very long time, with Chris Jericho at the top of the list. Jericho has been around for a very long time now and was the first AEW World Champion. Now though, he is going to be taking a bit of time away from television. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jericho will be touring the United Kingdom with his band Fozzy, meaning that he will be missing time from AEW TV. Jericho will be on tour from November 29 until December 12 and will miss two editions of Dynamite and Rampage each. There is a chance that Jericho will still appear in pre-taped videos. It is not clear if AEW will announce the tour or use a storyline to write Jericho off of television. He’s done well in AEW. VIDEO: AEW Roster Sings Chris Jericho’s Judas

I’d think he’s earned it. There are very few wrestlers in the world today who are as famous as Chris Jericho. He has been in the wrestling industry for almost thirty years now and has accomplished almost everything there is to accomplish. In addition to wrestling, Jericho has also spread into various other industries, many of which have been successful as well. One is more than the rest though and now the two are becoming one. Jericho remains the biggest signing that AEW has ever had, but he came with a bit of a bonus. Since Jericho is the lead singer of the band Fozzy, he had quite a few songs to pick from for his entrance music. In the end he went with Judas, which is a rather catchy song. It is catchy enough that his fans like singing the song back to him during his entrances, but how well do his co-workers know the song? I’d call it a tribute. Check out the AEW roster trying their voices at Judas: https://media.wrestlingrumors.net/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/02072808/AEW-Judas.mp..

Here’s One Thing Keeping Chris Jericho From Returning to WWE

Traditionally, Chris Jericho’s hiatus from WWE is the result of him leaving for Fozzy or another commitment outside of wrestling. This year, Y2J has been wrestling outside of WWE for New Japan and has become the IWGP Intercontinental Champion. Recently, he ran the “Jericho Wrestling Cruise” and it was very well received by those in attendance. It took a lot of work and two years for Jericho to pull off the cruise. Originally, he went to WWE officials with the idea and was turned down. Instead, Jericho went to ROH and other promotions to find talent for the cruise. Apparently, he wants to make the cruise an annual event and that might be a point of contention between himself and WWE. Related: Chris Jericho’s Wrestling Cruise: How Did It Go? According to a report from RingSideNews, Jericho was able to get so much talent from a promotion like ROH or Impact because of his friendship with Don Callis. If Y2J can pull off the cruise for the second year in a row, he could ask WWE officials t..
