He Did It! Road Dogg Reveals Who Was Behind Unsolved WWE Mystery

There’s the reveal. There are so many stories that take place during any given week of WWE programming that it can be difficult to keep track of all of them. That can be the case for the fans as well as the company itself, as there are times when stories are left hanging with no resolution. Now we know where something was going to go but WWE never actually did anything about it. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: No More: Sasha Banks Reportedly “Done” With WWE, What Caused The Split On the July 4, 2016 edition of Monday Night Raw, a food fight broke out at the 4th of July backstage party. Kevin Owens was the only person who did not get covered in food during the fight, but at the end of the segment, an unseen person hit him with a pie. The person who threw the pie has never been revealed on WWE television. Following the segment, several WWE videos attempted to figure out who did it, with no success. However, according to the Road Dogg on his Oh…You Didn’t Know podcast, Vince McMahon was going to..

Drew McIntyre Pulled From WWE Events Over Medical Issue

You never want to hear that. There are a lot of reasons that a wrestler could miss a show and most of them are not good, especially if they involve health issues. While wrestlers are often getting injured, you do not see that many situations of a wrestler missing time from the ring due to illness. That seems to be the case at the moment with one of WWE’s most prominent stars. According to PWInsider.com, Drew McIntyre was pulled from a pair of live events over the weekend due to a bout of food poisoning. McIntyre is said to have forced his way through SmackDown and then been taken off the road to give him the weekend to recover. The situation involved McIntyre receiving an IV of fluids during SmackDown. Braun Strowman replaced McIntyre on the shows. Opinion: That sounds terrible for McIntyre and hopefully he gets back in the ring sooner than later. McIntyre has a reputation for being one of the hardest working people in WWE and it is rare to see him take a day off, so I would hardly c..

WATCH: Happy Corbin Reveals Surprising Retirement Plans

He does have a plan. Wrestlers are in a weird place when it comes to career paths. While they can be in the ring for a very long time, a lot of them have some issues figuring out a way out of wrestling as they often have no future path. That is not the case for everyone though, as one current WWE star knows how much longer he wants to be in the ring, plus what he has in mind for after. During an interview with Bleav In Pro Wrestling, SmackDown’s Happy Corbin talked about his future plans in wrestling. Corbin said that he hopes to wrestle for another five to ten years before moving into the food industry. This includes working with the Food Network in some way, as Corbin is friends with celebrity chef Aaron May. Corbin said he would like to get his own show, possibly on YouTube or on the Food Network. It’s an interesting interview. Check out what Corbin had to say: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: That’s certainly a new one as you don’t see someone in wrestling ta..

WrestleMania Is Going To Make A Lot Of Money (And Just Not For WWE)

That’s why they fight over it. WrestleMania 38 is just a few days away and most of the build has been completed. If all goes according to plan, WWE has put together a card that is going to bring in the maximum amount of fans to the event. WWE is certainly ready to take over the Dallas area for the show, and it turns out that is going to be a very lucrative deal for the city itself. According to the Dallas Morning News, WrestleMania 38 will bring in $200 million to the Dallas area economy. This comes through expenses such as food, lodging, transportation, retail and recreational activities. WWE will be in the Dallas area for SmackDown on Friday, NXT Stand & Deliver on Saturday and Monday Night Raw on Monday, plus in Arlington on Saturday and Sunday for WrestleMania. This is the second time that that Dallas area has hosted WrestleMania, following WrestleMania 32 in 2016. Opinion: And that’s why cities bid over the rights to host WrestleMania. It is incredible to see how much money come..

The Undertaker Will Officially Enter The WWE Hall of Fame

His legacy will never rest in peace. WWE has announced that The Undertaker will officially be inducted into the Hall of Fame as the inaugural member of the class of 2022. From WWE.com: First introduced at 1990’s Survivor Series, The Demon of Death Valley was soon battling with Hulk Hogan, then at the top of the food chain in WWE. This clash set the tone for Undertaker’s dominant career. No one was too big, and no one was safe from his gloved grip. A multi-time WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, a seven-time tag team titleholder, and a Royal Rumble Match winner in 2007, Undertaker has cemented his place among the greatest in the game. A true in-ring pioneer, he was part of many WWE firsts, including the first-ever Casket Match at Survivor Series 1992, the first-ever Buried Alive Match in 1996, and the inaugural Hell in a Cell Match in 1997. But there was one achievement that stood out above all others that is unlikely to ever be topped. Since WrestleMania VII in 1991, The Undertake..

KB’s Review: We Lost The Food Fight

I’ve been watching wrestling for a pretty long time now and it is rare that things really get to me in a negative way. Of course there are bad parts to almost every show, but most of them come and go without too much trouble. That is not always the case though and unfortunately we saw something like that again this week. To make it even worse, it was the second similar instance in just a few weeks. Back in November, Charlotte hit Toni Storm in the face with a pie. It was the night after Thanksgiving and WWE felt the need to have a Thanksgiving Leftovers match earlier in the show. Charlotte and Storm came out, with Charlotte hitting her in the face with the pie. Since this is modern WWE, Storm stood there and took it, only to come back the next week with a pie to Charlotte. Then Charlotte beat her up twice in a row and Storm left the company, probably because she just lost a feud that started with a pie being shoved into her face. Now that was bad enough, but at least it was designed ..

SmackDown Star Asks For Help With Important Cause

That’s a worthy cause. With wrestling being so prevalent today, you can always find something to watch. It makes for some great viewing, but it also lets wrestling companies get a message out there rather easily. That can also be the case with individual wrestlers, and now one of them is doing something special as a wrestler is using his platform to help other people. SmackDown’s Top Dolla has sent out a tweet, announcing that he is holding his fifth annual canned food drive for Sarah’s House children’s homeless shelter. The drive is being held in Fort Meade, Maryland on November 19-21. Top Dolla’s tweet asked for dirt sheet sites that report on everything he said and try to make money off of his name with clickbait articles every week. Asking all Dirt Sheet websites that report on everything I say every week & try to make clickbait headlines to get publicity off my name to report that I’ll be having my 5th Annual Canned Food Drive for Sarah’s House children’s homeless shelter in For..

Burger King Weighs In On Current WWE Storyline

I guess that’s their taste. With so many things going on in WWE at any given time, it can be difficult to keep track of everything. Sometimes you have some angles which stand out more than others, but everyone is going to be impressed by something else. That is the case with run of the mill fans, but also apparently the case with a huge chain of fast food restaurants. This week on Monday Night Raw, Damian Priest and Riddle spoke backstage, with the two talking about going to Burger King to have the new CH*KING sandwich. Later in the week, Riddle sent out a tweet showing the two at the restaurant, with Riddle praising the sandwich and telling Randy Orton he needed to try it. The Burger King Twitter account responded, saying that this is the best storyline in wrestling at the moment. Riddle and Orton have been teaming together since April, though Orton was missing from this week’s Monday Night Raw. Thanks @ArcherOfInfamy for the stallion lunch and @RandyOrton you gotta try the CH’KING ..

WATCH: Titus O’Neil Is More Awesome Than Your Favorite Wrestler

You don’t find people like him very often. There are a lot of uncertainties in the world at the moment as there are all kinds of problems that grow every day. You never know how much worse it is going to get with each passing day and that is the kind of thing that makes the problems even worse. However, every now and then you hear something that makes it feel a little better. On Wednesday, a lot of things changed in WWE with nearly forty releases or furloughs. That isn’t something you hear about every day and it shook up the company in a big way. This was a major hit for several people as several of them are going to be facing an uncertain future. With so many problems going on and a lot of coworkers losing their jobs, one wrestler is doing something incredible anyway. Titus O’Neil has announced that he and NFL quarterback Jameis Winston have each donated $25,000 to the Metropolitan Ministries. The charity is helping deliver food boxes to poorer families in the Tampa, Florida area, a..

How AEW And WWE Continue Running Live Television

So how does this work? There are a lot of changes going on in the world at the moment and a lot of them have to do with wrestling. For the most part, wrestling has come grinding to a halt, but there is still out there, especially at the top of the food chain. This includes both WWE and AEW, which are managing to continue their shows despite various governments banning large gatherings. How does that work? While they may not seem like the traditional shows, WWE ran NXT, SmackDown and 205 Live this week, all from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The latter two shows were both held in empty arenas with no fans, which keeps the companies in line with rules of not having a large crowd gathered for the events. So what are they doing to make this possible? According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE and AEW have been allowed to continue running their shows because there are less than 250 people in the building at a time. This includes wrestlers, production workers and other on-air..

Reeves: “The Common People Are Fine Working Nine-To-Five Jobs”

NXT Superstar Kona Reeves was interviewed by Byron Saxton on WWE.com, where he discussed his time with NXT and his future with the company. What is the motivation behind the nickname “NXT’s Finest”: I insist that I’m “NXT’s Finest” because I know I am the finest in every aspect. People call themselves the “greatest” or “the best” all the time. That’s okay because they are all alike. I am different than all those basic people. I have the finest hair, finest skin complexion, finest taste in music and finest ethnic background! My life is the finest it has ever been, and it’s only the beginning! How does Reeves maintain the “Finest” status: I go to the finest hair salon in Orlando, Fla., thanks to Mandy Rose. I have my coats and boots custom-made, and I only eat the finest organic foods. It’s not easy to live the finest lifestyle, but if you work hard, you get to play hard. He discusses his heritage: My mother is Hawaiian, Chinese, Filipino and Spanish. My father is Dutch and Indonesian,..

WWE Money in the Bank Results – June 18, 2017

<p>Welcome to the SmackDown-branded, Money in the Bank 2017 results!</p><p>Tonight’s PPV is an historic one because it will host the first-ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match! The monumental match-up features Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/tamina-snuka" title="Tamina Snuka">Tamina Snuka</a></strong>, Carmella, and <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/natalya" title="Natalya">Natalya</a></strong>, all vying to climb the ladder and grab the contract hanging above the ring, becoming the first-ever winner in the process. Whoever wins the briefcase will get an instant title shot against the Champion.</p><p>Currently the Women’s Champion is Naomi but tonight she faces a mysterious challenger in the form of Lana. A lot of controversy has surrounded Lana’s instant push to the stars and seemingly unearned title shot – considering she has only wrestled one televised match and that was at WrestleMania 32. Lana appeased some concerns on SmackDown Live this week when she hit an impressive sit-out powerbomb, and it’s worth mentioning that the ravishing Russian has been wrestling on live events for over a year. So, do you think Naomi can retain against the unproven but unpredictable challenger? And who will win the Money in the Bank to challenge the Champion? Let us know in the comments!</p><p>Of course, there’s a second ladder match on tonight’s show, featuring six men who are willing to go through hell for a contract. AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Dolph Ziggler, Shinsuke Nakamura, Baron Corbin and <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/sami-zayn" title="Sami Zayn">Sami Zayn</a></strong>, will battle it out tonight in one of the hardest-hitting matches in all of wrestling. Any one of these men could realistically walk out with the briefcase but Nakamura was the one left holding in on SmackDown Live this past week. Baron Corbin seems the most obvious winner but it would be great to see AJ Styles or Sami Zayn grab the briefcase and go on to cash it in for a blockbuster match, rather than when a Champion is down and hurt. John Cena did this against CM Punk in 2012, on the Raw 1000 main event, and he failed but it made for a more monumental cash-in than the typical opportunistic approach. Just some food for thought, let us know who you’d like to see walk out with the briefcase!</p><p>Hometown boy Randy Orton has a huge match tonight as he challenges the WWE Champion, Jinder Mahal! Orton and the modern-day Maharaja have been going back and forth for months now, with Jinder usually getting the upper-hand due to the numbers game. The Singh Brothers could also play a huge role in tonight’s title match but Orton will look to nullify their presence, perhaps by taking them out before or during the match, allowing him to take-on the lesser-talented Jinder one-on-one!</p><p>Elsewhere on tonight’s show, The Uso’s defend their Tag Team Championship’s against The New Day, and The Hype Bro’s face The Colon’s on the pre-show. It’s a fairly small card tonight, although that means the ladder matches will probably get plenty of time to breathe. I wouldn’t be surprised to see an episode of The Fashion Files also. Let us know all your thoughts in the comments, and be sure to check out the Ringside News app and enjoy the show!</p>

Jinder Mahal Says Nobody Sees The Work He’s Putting In

<p>Jinder Mahal recently spoke with <a href="https://www.gq.com/story/jinder-mahal-wwe-real-life-diet" rel="nofollow" target="new">GQ</a>. Here are highlights from the interview:</p><p><strong>His go-to fast food restaurant</strong>: “You can actually eat very clean at Chipotle. They have <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/white/" title="white">white</a></strong> rice, they have <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/brown/" title="brown">brown</a></strong> rice, and they have chicken. I stay away from the guac and the sour cream. I just get lettuce, double-meat chicken, and a white or brown rice. Sometimes you don’t realize how bad you feel from just eating out all the time at fast food places. I haven’t eaten McDonald’s or any other fast food in I don’t know how long. Not even pizza.”</p><p><strong>Which supplements he takes</strong>: “I actually take quite a few supplements. I have protein with me all the time. I always have branched-chain amino acids. I take those with water before my morning cardio. They prevent muscle breakdown. I take a magnesium supplement before my workout because it prevents cramping. You know, I have to wrestle every night and I have to train so hard—sometimes I’ll work out and then later on I feel my back starting to cramp up. So magnesium helps a lot with that. I take multivitamin packs. There’s like 10 different multivitamins and digestive enzymes all in one little packet. I take one packet of those every morning. I take creatine and a pre-workout before I work out. And I always switch my pre-workout. Every bottle I finish, I get a different one so my body never gets used to it.”</p><p><strong>Instagram post responding to fans thinking he’s on PEDs</strong>: “I don’t think people realize the hard work that goes into it. Nobody sees the work I’m putting in the gym. Nobody sees me <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/doing/" title="doing">doing</a></strong> cardio first thing in the morning. Nobody sees me lugging around that suitcase. And just generally, people don’t have that much knowledge about diet and the effects that diet alone can have on your body. If you see a bodybuilder before they’re in competition shape to when they get into competition shape, that’s all dieting, carb cutting, and macronutrients. I mean, you can totally transform yourself just by cutting carbs and even something as simple as drinking a gallon of water a day. The average person—like, 90 percent of the average population—is dehydrated. That’s another thing that I do now, which has been a huge key.”</p>
