WATCH: Alexa Bliss Rocks Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” On Stage At Music Festival

She has chops. There are a lot of pieces that go into being a professional wrestler but at the end of the day, it is mainly about being a performer. A wrestler has to go in front of the crowd and make them care about what is going on. That can be easier said than done, but it is clear that wrestlers have some talent for being center stage. That was the case again this weekend. Over the weekend, WWE’s Alexa Bliss joined her husband Ryan Cabrera on stage at the Powell Festival in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Bliss performed part of Eminem’s Lose Yourself, with Cabrera joining her on guitar. Bliss has a bit of a history with music, including appearing in the music video for Bowling For Soup’s song Alexa Bliss, which is obviously named after her. This was pretty cool. RUMOR: WWE Considering Several Special Shows

It would be different. There are a lot of WWE television shows on any given week and that has been the case for a very long time now. WWE has presented Monday Night Raw and SmackDown for decades each and some might say that the shows have gotten a bit repetitive. There are only so many ways to present the shows but now we might be seeing something fresh. According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, based on the success of Major League Baseball’s Field of Dreams game, WWE is considering some “offsite events” to be held in 2022. Some of the possible ideas considered would be “Raw on the Roof”, a show in the Hammerstein Ballroom and a show at a music festival similar to the Rolling Loud event earlier this summer. There is no word on when these events might take place, assuming they actually do. With the success MLB had w/ the Field of Dreams game last week, WWE has begun very initial discussions about doing a few “offsite events” in 2022. Some ideas discussed within creative include: ..

He keeps mixing it up. Every now and then you see a wrestler who changes the game. There might be something about him which you just cannot ignore because they are different than anyone else. That is the case with a certain wrestler who is currently waiting to return to WWE, but he has been shaking things up a little bit while he is away from the ring. Brock Lesnar appeared at the Twin Cities Summer Jam in Shakopee, Minnesota over the weekend, including showing up in various photos. Lesnar is seen wearing a cowboy hat in the photos, taken by fans and with various local celebrities. Lesnar is also sporting the goatee that he was first seen with earlier this month in a video on the Butcher Brothers YouTube channel. VIDEO: Part Of SmackDown Set Collapsed Before This Week’s Show

That could have been worse. With the fans returning to WWE events, it is time for WWE to come up with something fresh to hook the viewers in. There are all kinds of ways to do this, but one of the most effective is to mix up the locations a bit. WWE is already taking the shows to venues outside of Florida, but now they are trying two at once. It just has a bit of a hiccup on the way. This week’s SmackDown will be split between the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio and the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, Florida. According to Local 10 (ABC Miami affiliate), a video screen being used for the festival collapsed on Thursday before the festival began. According to the Rolling Loud Twitter account, no one was hurt and the wall will be repaired before the start of the festival on Friday. SmackDown will feature an appearance by John Cena, who returned last Sunday at Money in the Bank and confronted Roman Reigns. Cena appeared on Monday Night Raw as well, promising to come see Rei..

Double it up. The biggest wrestling story of July will be fans returning to the venues, both for AEW and WWE. Things are going to change again and this time in a more positive direction. There is something very cool about seeing wrestling companies going back on the road, as the energy will be boosted up all over again. It turns out that the boost is coming from two places at once in one instance. WWE has announced that SmackDown will air from two venues on July 23, which will be the second edition of the show featuring fans in attendance. The show will be split between the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio and the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, Florida. He’s getting better. Wrestlers are in a weird place when it comes to entertainment. They are portraying characters, but for some reason there are always going to be people reminding you that it is fake. You don’t get this in other forms of acting, but wrestlers are treated differently for some reason. That doesn’t mean they can’t act, and that was on display for one notable wrestler recently. The Big Show, real name Paul Wight, really is one of the most unique wrestlers in the world. In addition to his size and physical attributes, Big Show has a great charisma and comedic timing that you don’t get from a lot of other wrestlers. That is the kind of thing could serve him elsewhere outside of the ring and it seems to have done that in a place you might not have expected to see. Triple H On WrestleMania Going Two Nights Permanently

They may have started a tradition. Earlier this month, WWE presented WrestleMania 36, which is pretty easily the most unique version of the show that the company has ever offered. In addition to the complete lack of fans at the WWE Performance Center, the show took place over the course of two nights. That was a weird situation, but it might not be weird for too much longer. One of the more common complaints with recent WrestleManias has been the length. The last two editions have featured sixteen matches each and counting the Kickoff Show, a few recent shows have broken seven hours. That is a very long time to watch wrestling, so some sort of change could probably be a good idea. A pretty high up name in WWE might have a solution. I can understand why he wasn’t happy. It’s been a rough summer for Kevin Owens. Earlier this week he quit Monday Night Raw and after everything he’s been through, that can’t be the biggest surprise. Owens spent most of the summer dealing with Braun Strowman, who put him inside of a portable toilet, destroyed his car, and threw him off the top of a cage. So how did Owens like dealing with Strowman? It wasn’t the most thrilling. Pete Dunne Attacks Mark Andrews at the 2017 Download Festival

Ahead of tonight’s NXT Live Event at the Download Festival in England, Pete Dunne attacked <a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/mark-andrews" title="Mark Andrews">Mark Andrews</a> at a concert. Ruby Riot Busted Open at UK Download Festival — Match Suddenly Stops

Ruby Riot’s match against <a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/asuka" title="Asuka">Asuka</a> at the UK Download Festival had to be stopped when she was busted open after taking a bump into the steel stairs. Ruby confirmed the incident with a Facebook Live chat with <a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/tag/kayla/" title="Kayla">Kayla</a> Braxton and mentioned that she had to get 5 stitches afterwards.
