Occasionally WWE will send wrestlers to get help outside of the company and that seemed to be the case with one of its stars. That just might not be what happened though. The Wrestling Observer reports that this is not the case though, as Riddle’s situation violates the WWE Wellness Policy. Riddle’s first positive test resulted would have likely resulted in a thirty day suspension (as per WWE’s policy), but he did not wrestle from July 25 until August 20, which is less than thirty days. Later, Ronda Rousey failed to regain the SmackDown Women’s Title from Liv Morgan, causing Rousey to attack a group of referees. Uh Oh: WWE May Be Facing Another Lawsuit Soon

That’s an important part. WWE has long since taken over the wrestling industry and no other promotion really comes close to what they are doing. That puts them in a unique place, which is helped by the fact that they have more money than any other promotion. Part of that comes from being a publicly traded company, but now the negative side of that could be coming through. According to Businesswire.com, the Schall Law Firm is asking for WWE investors to contact their office over possible violations of security laws. This comes after WWE announced that they are investigating Vince McMahon allegedly paying a WWE employee $3 million to hide an affair between the two. Schall is looking into whether or not WWE violated security laws by possibly issuing false or misleading statements or failed to disclose pertinent information. Another WWE Tag Team May Have Already Split Up

They’re already done? WWE has a weird history with tag teams, as they have presented several different teams over the years but a good many of them have split up. The company has a fascination with putting two people together for the sake of splitting them up again for a feud of some kind. That might be the case again, even though the team was not together that long in the first place. This week on SmackDown, Ricochet beat Sheamus in the show’s opening match. Sheamus lost the match after a failed distraction from his protege and tag partner, Ridge Holland. Following the match, Sheamus shoved Holland down before leaving on his own. While not confirmed, this could suggest that the two are on their way to splitting up. Holland has been Sheamus’ protege since he debuted on SmackDown in the fall of last year. New Grudge Match Set For WWE Day One

The card is still growing. We are about two weeks away from WWE Day One and that means the card is mostly set. While there has been a lot of work done already, there are still a few things that need to be set up. Some of these changes involve new matches being added to the show and that was the case this week, as a grudge match has been added to the pay per view card. This week on SmackDown, a grudge match between Madcap Moss and Drew McIntyre was officially announced for WWE Day One. Last week, Moss and Happy Corbin stole Adam Pearce’s desk, which contained McIntyre’s sword. This week, Moss and Corbin failed to pull the sword from the desk, causing McIntyre to come pull it out instead. Corbin would volunteer Moss to face McIntyre at the pay per view. You do not see these people come along very often but it is clear when they are around. Some of them are among the most famous names in wrestling history and include some people still around today. One of them has now gone on record about a recent failure in WWE. John Cena was a guest at the Florida SuperCon and was asked about his recent platinum NFT package sold through WWE at $1000 each. According to Cena, WWE only sold 37 packages, which included a hat, an exclusive Super Mario 3 inspired shirt, various other merchandise and an NFT of Cena. AEW Adds Three New Matches To All Out Card

The build is on fast. We are less than two weeks away from AEW’s latest pay per view with All Out and that is a good thing for wrestling fans. AEW has a very nice track record with its pay per view events and there is a strong chance that we could be in for another solid show this time around. There are still some matches to be added to the card though and AEW took care of them this week. AEW announced three new matches for All Out during this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. One of the matches announced was a title match, as Women’s Champion Britt Baker will defend against Kris Statlander. Jackson failed a post fight test for marijuana, resulting in Punk’s decision loss being overturned. There is no word on why it took so long to announce the result, as the fight took place on June 9, 2018. As a result, Punk’s mixed martial arts record is now 0-1-1. BREAKING: Jimmy Uso Arrested For DUI Again

According to a report from TMZ, Jimmy Uso was arrested last evening in Pensacola, Florida, for driving under the influence of alcohol. He has been charged with a misdemeanor DUI. Uso, whose real name is Jonathan Fatu, was pulled over at around 10:35 PM on Monday in Pensacola after police say that he ran a red light after being clocked going 50 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. During subsequent questioning, they smelled alcohol on him, so they asked him to exit his Dodge Charger and gave him a field sobriety test, which he failed. Official police records state that Uso’s Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) breath tests came back at .202 and .205, which is well above Florida’s legal limit of .08. His bond is currently set at $500. This is not Uso’s first DUI; he was arrested in July 2019 for a similar offense. He was later found not guilty of the charges. What could have been. Earlier this month, WWE released nine wrestlers from their contracts, which offered quite the shakeup to the company’s roster. These releases came fairy out of nowhere though and that means there were chances for something else to happen. Now those plans will not be realized, but we do know what one of them might have been. According to Fightful Select, prior to his release from the company, WWE was considering reuniting Wesley Blake with his NXT tag team partner Buddy Murphy. The two had been meeting with WWE creative to come up with a way to reintroduce them to WWE programming but nothing ever took place. The idea came about after Blake’s other partner, Steve Cutler, was released from the company in January. Blake and Murphy appeared together in NXT, where they were managed by Alexa Bliss. That’s who you are. One of the most tried and true stories that you are going to see in wrestling is the masked person. The big idea is finding out who is underneath the mask, which can make for quite the mystery a lot of the time. That is something you can see in a variety of promotions and NXT is no exception, but now we know who has been underneath the mask. Back at Halloween Havoc, a masked person interfered in Damian Priest’s North American Title match against Johnny Gargano, costing Priest the title. Later in the show, the same masked person interfered in Candice LeRae’s Women’s Title shot against Io Shirai but failed to help her win the title. The mask was not pulled off that night, but now things have changed a bit. During this week’s NXT, the masked person was revealed to be Indi Hartwell, who has been a fan of both Gargano and LeRae for several weeks now.
