Time to move on. Nikki and Brie Bella announced on their Sirius XM show, The Nikki & Brie Show, that they are officially leaving WWE and will now be known as ‘The Garcia Twins’. NXT Date: July 5, 2022 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Wade Barrett, Vic Joseph It’s another special night this week, as we have the Great American Bash. That means we have a stacked card, including multiple title matches. The main event is Cameron Grimes challenging Bron Breakker for the NXT Title, which should be a heck of a match. NXT does well enough with these shows so let’s get to it. The opening video is at a cookout, hosted by Fallon Henley, Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs. Most of the roster is there, with Jensen enjoying the women in the pool and wrestlers making various wrestling related threats. Tag Team Titles: Cora Jade/Roxanne Perez vs. Toxic Attraction Jade and Perez are challenging and Jade takes Jayne down early on. Homecoming: WWE Hall Of Famer Returns To Company After Long Recovery From Surgery

Welcome back. There are a lot of people who work together to many any wrestling show work and WWE is certainly no exception. The company has a backstage staff that helps make their events as good as they can be. That is a lot easier said than done and having the right group of people together helps. Now one of the veteran backstage workers is back on the job. WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley has announced that he returned to work as a producer at this week’s NXT taping. This is Dudley’s first time back at work since he underwent back surgery in October. Dudley said he is happy to be in his new role in NXT and is enjoying working with the new talent. He also thanked God for the opportunity. Dudley has been working as a WWE producer since retiring in 2016. This pass Tuesday night was the first time back at work since my back surgery that took me out last October. Feeling great and Glad to be back, but even more glad to be back in my new role in NXT. WWE Isn’t Sure When Roman Reigns Will Have His Next Title Defense

They might want to work on that. Titles are the easiest concept to understand in wrestling, as any fan can get the idea of someone holding a shiny belt. Someone holding a title means that they are the best around and people are coming for you. That can set up some major matches, but now it might be a little while before that happens again with the top title in WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has yet to make up its mind on when WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will next defend his title. The company is considering having him defend at either Money In The Bank on July 2 or at Summerslam on July 30. Reigns has been Universal Champion since August 30, 2020 and won the WWE Title from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 in April. Opinion: I know WWE is enjoying the idea of pushing Reigns as the be all and end all of stars today, but I’m still not feeling this idea of several months with no title defenses. Putting her money where your mouth is. There is a lot of wrestling in the world today and it is almost impossible to keep track of everything that is going on. While the bigger promotions are going to get the most attention, there is so much more content out there, which you might not get to see every time. One wrestler seems to be trying to do something about that. Impact Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace has sent out a tweet, offering to help fans get in to any show that she is on but that they cannot afford to attend. Grace said that she wants to facilitate more people watch wrestling and loves to help doing so. Tis the season. We are less than a week away from Christmas and less than two weeks away from the new year. You can feel the year winding down and that means things are a bit more calm and peaceful, often with people enjoying the holiday season. That is the case in WWE as well, as they are sending fans a special look at the holiday season, featuring some of its biggest names. WWE has released a new video featuring various wrestlers wishing fans Happy Holidays. Several wrestlers are included in-character, along with some less than normal situations, such as Charlotte as the Grinch and Seth Rollins acknowledging his marriage to Becky Lynch. Tis the season. Wrestlers often have a tricky job as they have to be a mixture of athletes, actors and characters, all at the same time. There are so many people involved in a wrestling production that you are going to see some people who are better than others at each job. This time around, we are seeing someone who is very good at the lighter side, and they are showcasing themselves well. One of the best stories going in all of WWE at the moment is the backstage banter between Paul Heyman and interviewer Kayla Braxton. The two have quite the chemistry together, with Braxton enjoying needling Heyman when he is stressed and Heyman accusing Braxton of having a crush on him. Bryan Danielson’s AEW Not-So “Fantasy” Bookings?

Bryan Danielson’s pro wrestling future has been a hot topic of conversation over the past several weeks. Much of the speculation online centers on the possibility and some would say eventual likelihood, that he has signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling. Neither side has confirmed a signing as of yet. That’s not surprising of course, as the desire to keep things under wraps in the business is still very much in play here. Assuming Danielson is indeed coming onboard, AEW would want to surprise the fans and save his debut for just the right time. Shake it up? WWE may be the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world but they are not exactly enjoying the best reputation at the moment. Fans have not exactly been pleased with what they are doing and their television audiences would seem to reflect that. It would seem that a few changes need to be made and believe it or not, we might be seeing that take place. According to Wrestlingnews.co, Vince McMahon is aware that WWE’s product is stale and in need of a shakeup. The idea is that the better storylines and ideas are being saved for when crowds return to the shows, which will begin on July 16. Rumor: Sami Zayn Still “A Few Months” Away From Being Cleared

Sami Zayn has been out of action for several months after tearing both of his rotator cuffs this summer. With the Royal Rumble coming around, most people are wondering if the “Underdog From the Underground” will be an entrant in the match. WWE officials do like to surprise the WWE Universe, but the chances of him wrestling are really slim. During a recent appearance on Talk is Jericho, Zayn explained that he’s still a couple of months away from being medically cleared. He also went into detail about not being in a hurry to return to the road and enjoying his time away from the ring. A lot of people will take that out of context, but Sami really means is he’s enjoying the time he has off. <p>On the recent episode of Talk Is Jericho ‘<strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/sheamus" title="Sheamus">Sheamus</a></strong> And <strong><a href="http://www.ringsidenews.com/wrestler/cesaro" title="Cesaro">Cesaro</a></strong>’, one-half of the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus spoke about his relationship with Cesaro and how they got close after their team of Sheamus and Cesaro came together and how they found great mutual respect for each other:</p><blockquote> <p>“We had a lot of respect for each other. Nonetheless, the former Bollywood Boys take a helluva, ass whipping. Enjoying the villains getting success, which generally adds to the build of most storylines within the genre.
