AEW Rampage Results – March 3, 2023

Rampage Date: March 3, 2023 Location: Cow Palace, San Francisco, California Commentators: Chris Jericho, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross It’s the final show before Revolution and that means this week is live. Normally I would say a pay per view card is set two days before the show but AEW has a tendency to throw in a bunch of stuff at the last minute. This week will also see Dustin Rhodes/Keith Lee vs. Mogul Affiliates so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Aussie Open vs. Claudio Castagnoli/Wheeler Yuta vs. Top Flight vs. Dark Order The Dark Order jumps Castagnoli/Yuta in the aisle to start but Top Flight dives onto all four of them. Aussie Open drives Top Flight together as JR talks about needing to win to get a pay per view pay day. Ross: “Am I right about that?” And he is completely ignored, as that doesn’t seem to be right. We get inside for the bell with Top Flight dropkicking Aussie Open with Davis being knocked to the floor. Reynolds comes in and hits a running elbow on ..

AEW Rampage Results – February 17, 2023

Rampage Date: February 17, 2023 Location: Saves Auto Arena, Laredo, Texas Commentators: Jim Ross, Chris Jericho, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur It’s a special show this week with the show on at 7pm instead of the usual 10pm due to the NBA coverage. Therefore the show is call Slam Dunk as AEW stacks the card because it might be able to draw a good bit more fans this week. Hopefully that is the case as Rampage hasn’t felt important in a few weeks now. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Trios Titles: Elite vs. AR Fox/Top Flight The Elite is defending and since this is Slam Dunk, there are a lot basketballs as props. Dante and Nick start things off by throwing a basketball at each other. Nick hits Matt in the face with the ball by mistake though and the champs are kicked out to the floor early on. Fox dives onto all of them in a pair of dives and then adds a third with a basketball. Back in and Omega grabs a headlock before running Fox over with a shoulder. The basketball comes back in and ..

Rampage Date: December 2, 2022 Location: Indiana Farmer’s Coliseum, Indianapolis, Indiana Commentators: Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur We are eight days away from Final Battle and the card is in need of some work. There are a few matches set but nowhere near enough to carry a full pay per view. Maybe we can get something new added tonight, but you never can tell with this show. At least the wrestling tends to be fun so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Darby Allin vs. Cole Karter Before the match, Allin beats up Nick Comoroto with the baseball bat to cut him off. With that not being enough, Allin dives onto Karter on the floor but an apron powerbomb cuts him off. Back in and a buckle bomb rocks Allin again as we take a break. We come back with Karter missing a Stinger’s Splash but hitting a jumping knee to the face. Allin goes after the knee though and grabs a Code Red for two, leaving them both down. NXT Date: May 10, 2022 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Wade Barrett, Vic Joseph While things should have changed last week with NXT Champion Bron Breakker beating Joe Gacy at Spring Breakin, Gacy’s minions beat Breakker down and kidnapped him. NXT Date: November 9, 2021 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Beth Phoenix, Wade Barrett, Vic Joseph We’re back with more of this show and I’m not exactly sure what that means. Odds are it means more Toxic Attraction though, as the trio has been all over the show almost every single week as of late. Throw in more of the usual suspects and this hasn’t been the most thrilling time in NXT as of late. Let’s get to it. Details On Charlotte’s Backstage Heat In WWE

They took some time getting here. With so many talented wrestlers on the WWE roster, it makes sense that there are going to be some issues at some point. Eventually some people are going to rub each other the wrong way, but it can be even worse if one person rubs several the wrong way. That seems to be the case now, and it has been building for a long time. Last week, a story emerged about a backstage altercation between Becky Lynch and Charlotte. The issue began when Charlotte literally dropped the Raw Women’s Title as she handed it to Becky Lynch, which Lynch believed made her look bad. This caused a backstage backlash against Charlotte, but now we know a bit more about how bad things have been getting. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the backstage heat on Charlotte has been building for a long time. It is said to be several little things together, including Charlotte wrestling as a heel but doing babyface moves, such as dives. As a result, babyface women have had i..

Opening sequence. CM Punk, on commentary tonight, gets a big introduction and dives into the crowd again. Adam Cole vs. Frankie Kazarian The fans are behind Cole as Kazarian takes him over a few times. Cole flips out of a headlock and backdrops Kazarian over the top and onto the apron for a crash. Back in and Cole takes some bows but Kazarian hits the slingshot Fameasser over the ropes. That doesn’t seem to do much to Cole, who is back with right hands into the chinlock. Main Event Date: June 10, 2021 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Byron Saxton, Kevin Patrick Things continue their up and down ways around here and I’m running out of ways to say I’m not sure what to expect. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Angel Garza vs. Mustafa Ali Ali takes him down by the arm to start and slaps on a headlock to annoy Garza even more. There are a few directions they can take before All Out in September so let’s get to it. Penta El Zero Miedo/Pac vs. Young Bucks Non-title and apparently the Bucks attacked Rey Fenix before the match, including a bunch of V Triggers. The big main event is for the AAA Trios Titles, which could be a heck of a match as Injustice can do well in the ring. I’m not sure what to expect from this show but it should be rather energized. Let’s get to it. Injustice knew they’d get here and they’re ready to win some gold. Opening sequence. Black Destiny/Fantastick/Rayo Star vs. Mocho Cota Jr./Tito Santana/Carta Brava Jr. This is not part of the Super Series. Destiny and company have an unnamed woman with them.
