She’s back. The main event of tonight’s episode of Raw featured a steel cage match between Becky Lynch and Bayley that was originally supposed to take place at Raw XXX. While Bayley would have backup with Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, it appeared that The Man had some backup too. In the closing moments of the match, Lynch was getting ready to escape the cage, when interference from Kai and Sky prevented The Man from getting out. Just when it looks like Bayley was going to get the win, WWE Hall of Famer Lita made her return to television to even the odds. She would fight off Damage Control, slam the door in Bayley’s face, and allow Lynch to get the win. The win marks Bliss and Asuka’s first reign as champions and their third individual title reign each. That’s some quality villainy. For the most part, wrestlers are divided into groups of babyfaces and heels. The heels are there to make fans angry at them and to get the fans cheering for the babyfaces to give them what they deserve. They liked what they saw. NXT superstar Roxanne Perez made her main roster debut this past week on Smackdown, teaming with Shotzi and Raquel Rodriguez to take on Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky of Damage Control. According to reports from both Wrestling News and PWInsider, WWE officials were very impressed with what they saw from Perez and plan on continuing to use her on the main roster again very soon. Perez has had quite the rise in professional wrestling since beginning her training at Booker T’s wrestling school at the age of 16. She debuted for Ring of Honor in April 2021 at the age of 19, winning the inaugural ROH Women’s World Championship and becoming the youngest female champion in company history. A new report from Fightful Select outlines some of the plans for the WWE roster now that Triple H has taken over for Vince McMahon and is now EVP of Talent Relations.
