Ring Of Honor TV Results – March 9, 2023

Ring Of Honor Date: March 9, 2023 Location: Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman We’re still on the first taping of this new show so things are likely to look like they did last week. The wrestling itself was pretty good, but the length of the show was quite the drag. They did offer something big at the end with Eddie Kingston showing up to challenge Claudio Castagnoli, so there is at least a path forward in the main event. Let’s get to it. TV Title: Samoa Joe vs. Tony Deppen Joe is defending and works on the wrist to start. For some reason Deppen strikes away, earning himself a beating in the corner. Deppen fights back though and hits a running corner dropkick. A knee gives Deppen two more but Joe Rock Bottoms him out of the corner. Joe blasts him with a clothesline though and the MuscleBuster retains the title at 5:26. Result: Samoa Joe b. Tony Deppen – MuscleBuster (5:26) Post match Joe says that he always runs this place no matter wha..

The television shows haven’t been the strongest in recent weeks but that has never stopped the pay per views from being special. Ring Of Honor TV Results – March 2, 2023

Ring Of Honor Date: March 2, 2023 Location: Universal Studios, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman So after a year or so of Ring Of Honor being a major part of AEW, it is time for the company to get its own show. That might mean quite a few things, but there is a good chance that we are going to be seeing a bunch of AEW stars around here. This show could go in a few different ways though so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Mark Briscoe vs. Slim J The rest of the Trustbusters are here with Slim J, who kicks away the Code Of Honor before the bell. Redneck Kung Fu sends J outside but a Mark Sterling distraction lets J get in a low blow. Briscoe is fine enough to kick J to the floor, setting up the dropkick through the ropes. It’s too early for the chair assisted dive so Briscoe strikes away back inside. Another Sterling distraction lets J hit a knee to the face, setting up a reverse DDT for two. Briscoe is busted open as J chokes away in the corner, followe..

They Have A Point: WWE Reportedly Very High On This New NXT Star

She has their attention. There are so many stars on the WWE roster that it can be difficult for someone to stand out. It takes something special to stand out but now a certain star has caught the attention of WWE officials and her future is looking bright. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Violent Attack Takes Place After Monday Night Raw According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is “very very high” on Sol Ruca, viewing her as a potential star in the making. Ruca signed with WWE and reported to the Performance Center in March 2022, making her television debut in July, following her first ever match in June. Ruca’s finishing move, a backflip cutter out of the corner called the Sol Snatcher, went viral after she debuted it in December. There is nothing to suggest that she will be promoted to the main roster at any point in the near future. WWE might be on to some..

Homecoming: Two Missing AEW Stars Return This Week On Rampage

Welcome back. With so many wrestlers on the AEW roster, it can be easy for one or more of them to get lost in the shuffle. You never know when someone is going to drop off of the radar and not appear again for a little while. That can make for some annoying absences, but it can also make for some very nice returns. Two of the latter took place this week on the same show. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It Fits: Important Details On Next WWE Event In Saudi Arabia, Possible AEW Competition Jake Roberts and Lance Archer made their returns to AEW television this week on Rampage. Trick Williams vs. Ilja Dragunov Before the match, Williams says that if pain makes Dragunov feel alive, he’ll be on cloud nine tonight. Williams hits him in the face before the bell so Dragunov starts angry. That means an angry headlock on the mat, with Williams having to bail to the ropes. Back up and Dragunov hits a running knee in the corner for two, followed by another such knee to keep Williams down. Dragunov goes up but gets kicked in the leg, allowing Williams to knock him to the floor. Cue JD McDonagh to watch as we take a break. Back with Dragunov fighting out of a cravate..

WATCH: Two SmackDown Stars Tease Big Heel Turn

To the other side? No matter how talented a wrestler might be, there is always going to be a time when they need some kind of a freshening up. Maybe they need a different look or a different character, but occasionally the right answer is a different direction. The most common version of this is to have a wrestler turn good or bad, and now two WWE stars are teasing such a change. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Second Generation Star Signs With WWE The main event of this week’s SmackDown saw Madcap Moss fall short in his challenge for Gunther’s Intercontinental Title. Moss had his girlfriend Emma in his corner, with Emma having hyped up his chances earlier in the night. NXT LVL Up Results – February 10, 2023

NXT LVL Up Date: February 10, 2023 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Byron Saxton, Blake Howard So somehow, we’re coming off what was an actually entertaining episode last week. If they can keep up that energy this week, it should be another breeze of the show. What makes it more confusing is that it shouldn’t be hard to send in another middle of the road star to boost things up a bit. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. We meet new commentator Blake Howard. Tank Ledger vs. Kale Dixon They trade wristlocks to start until Ledger takes him down with an armbar. An armdrag sets up another armbar and a World’s Strongest Slam gives Ledger two. Dixon manages to send him into the corner though and a neckbreaker gets two. Ledger fights out of a chinlock and a cartwheel into a splash gets another near fall. The running powerslam finishes Dixon at 4:59. Result: Tank Ledger b. Kale Dixon – Running powerslam (4:59) Axiom isn’t sure how to deal with a masked man..

AEW Rampage Results – February 10, 2023

Rampage Date: February 10, 2023 Location: County Coliseum, El Paso, Texas Commentators: Jim Ross, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Chris Jericho We are still in Texas with less than a month to go before Revolution. That should make for a few interesting weeks but this week’s lineup doesn’t exactly offer much in the way of hope. The Blackpool Combat Club is here though and that is one of the better things Rampage could do. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Blackpool Combat Club vs. Butcher and the Blade/Kip Sabian Sabian drives Yuta into the corner to start but a sunset flip gets Yuta out of trouble. Yuta is sent outside and Castagnoli comes in, with Butcher getting to come in as well for the power staredown. They yell at each other and slug it out, with both of them staggering. Moxley and then Yuta come in to take turns on Butcher as Jericho talks about the Impractical Jokers cast stealing his baseball bat. Dynamite Date: February 8, 2023 Location: County Coliseum, El Paso, Texas Commentators: Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Taz It’s a title themed show this week as we have two title matches plus a pair of eliminator matches. That should be enough to make for a good night as AEW tends to treat its titles seriously. The build towards Revolution continues and we should be getting some more added to the card. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs. Konosuke Takeshita Non-title. MJF’s offer of a handshake is brushed off to start so Takeshita hammers down some right hands in the corner. A knee is blocked and MJF sends him into the corner to take over. Takeshita traps the legs and hits a Tombstone, followed by a wheelbarrow suplex to send MJF outside. MJF gets in a shot of his own and takes it back inside, with Takeshi..

We have a bunch of title matches here, capped off by Bron Breakker defending the NXT Title against Grayson Waller inside a cage. Let’s get to it. Last week saw Rich Swann win a #1 contenders match to earn a shot at Josh Alexander later this month, but it still feels like we are coming up on Steve Maclin as the really big bad. Odds are we see more of the build this week so let’s get to it. Opening recap. Opening sequence. Bullet Club vs. Kevin Knight/Kushida Knight and Ace start things off with Bey’s headlock not getting him very far. Knight misses a charge into the corner and Bey stomps him in the back, only to get caught with a springboard spinning crossbody. The Big One: WWE Officially Sets Main Event For Elimination Chamber (And It’s Special)

That’s the big one. We are just over two weeks away from Elimination Chamber, which is the final stop on the Road To WrestleMania 39. RUMOR: Jey Uso Declares He Is Out of the Bloodline

He’s no longer feeling Ucey. Jey Uso took to Instagram earlier today and posted a cryptic message, following the events of last night’s Royal Rumble premium live event.
