It’s a way to go. We are firmly in the Roman Reigns era as Reigns is now over two years into his run as Universal Champion. They know how to make money like no other wrestling promotion and there is a chance that will continue for a long time to come. He had an offer. AEW All Out featured a series of major changes to the AEW roster, including a pair of huge debuts to end the show. That is the kind of thing that you do not see very often and you certainly could feel the changes taking place right in front of you. Bryan Danielson made his AEW debut at the end of All Out, marking an end to his free agent status. Danielson left WWE at the end of April and it was unclear where he would sign next. Sometimes you go somewhere unexpected. There have been some interesting stories taking place in wrestling over the last few months but there are very few as entertaining as Cameron Grimes attempting to be the modern day Ted DiBiase. Grimes has tried his best to live up to DiBiase’s reputation and DiBiase has been added to the story to make it feel a lot bigger. It turns out that the original plan was quite different.
