WATCH: WWE Superstar Continues To Show Change In Attitude

To the other side. With so much television time to fill in WWE, it can be easy for some of the company’s stars to start feeling stale. At some point a change needs to be made and that can be accomplished in a few different ways. One of the easiest is to turn someone either from good to bad or vice versa, and it seems that we saw that take place earlier this week. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It Fits: Important Details On Next WWE Event In Saudi Arabia, Possible AEW Competition Following the February 10 SmackDown, WWE released a video of Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio backstage after they both took part in a fatal four way. The two talked about respect and exchanged masks. This week, the two were backstage when Rhea Ripley and Rey’s son Dominik interrupted and insulted Rey. Escobar defended Rey and seemed to set up a match with Dominik. This would indicate that Escobar is moving further towards a full babyface turn, which would be a first in his WWE career. There is no word on what this wo..

A Way To Go: WWE Hall Of Famer Thinks 44 Year Old Could End Retirement Soon

No More: 53 Year Old Wrestling Legend Announces 2023 Is His Last Year In The Ring

End of the line? Wrestlers are a unique breed when it comes to athletics. While they are all athletes in one way or another, many of them top caliber, many of them do not walk away from competition like others are able to do. This is partially due to being able to get back in the ring for one more match, making it hard to finish up. Now one legend is ready to finish things up for good though. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? WATCH: Chris Jericho Makes Surprise Appearance On Masked Singer

I remember him! Wrestlers are celebrities, but they have a bit of a strange status to them. While they are famous, they are famous for pretty much one thing. Occasionally they will be able to break through to the other side and gain fame for something else, which can open up some doors. That was on display this week, as a wrestling legend was unveiled on a competition show. AEW’s Chris Jericho was unveiled as the Bride on this week’s edition of the Masked Singer, where he was eliminated from the competition following his performance of Billy Idol’s “White Wedding”. New Home? Important Streaming Trend Could Shake Up AEW And WWE Television Deals

That’s a good sign. Wrestling is in a weird place when compared to mainstream sports. While wrestling is certainly an athletic endeavor, it is closer to a performance than a competition. WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Bringing Back Classic Show With A Twist

It’s worth looking at again. There are a lot of recurring ideas throughout the history of WWE and some of them are around more often than others. WWE often adds a prize to the competition, usually in the form of a title or a shot at a title down the line. It can be a lot of fun to hear about one of those ideas coming back and now WWE seems set to bring back another of them. According to WrestleVotes by way of GiveMeSport, WWE is considering bringing back King Of The Ring as a stand alone event in 2023. That would mean that the entire tournament would take place in one night, with no matches taking place on regular television, as was the case in the original pay per view versions. There is no word on if the Queen’s Crown Tournament would continue as well. Opinion: King Of The Ring is one of the few WWE shows that goes away for a long time but then coems back to some pretty solid fanfare. I like the idea of the show, but I don’t know about having it be a full on event. Maybe WWE can ma..
