NXT LVL Up Date: February 24, 2023 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Blake Howard, Byron Saxton It’s another LVL Up and again I’m not sure what to expect. That has worked well in the past, but you never know what direction the show is going to take. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Axiom vs. Kale Dixon Dixon works on the arm to start but Axiom reverses into an armbar of his own. A springboard kick to the side of the head drops Dixon but he’s right back with some clubbing forearms. They trade kicks to the ribs until Dixon gets two off a delayed vertical suplex. Axiom strikes his way out of a chinlock and there’s a high crossbody. The Golden Ratio finishes for Axiom at 4:35. Result: Axiom b. Kale Dixon – Golden Ratio (4:35) Myles Borne and Tank Ledger are different on paper but they can win together tonight..

William Regal Finalizing A Deal To Return To WWE

Welcome home. According to reports from PWInsider and Wrestling News, William Regal is finalizing a deal to officially return to WWE in the new year. This is after previous reports surfaced that he was officially done with AEW and that he will not renew his contract when it expires this month. Regal has being in AEW since March of this year, when he debuted at their Revolution pay-per-view. He has primarily been associated with the Blackpool Combat Club since this time with the company; however, he allied himself with MJF at the recent Full Gear pay-per-view. Regal provided MJF with some brass knuckles, which he used to defeat Jon Moxley, and become the new AEW world heavyweight champion. However, on this past week’s episode of dynamite, MJF would turn on Regal, knocking him out with those same brass knuckles and effectively writing him off of television. It is expected that Regal will return to WWE in a backstage role. Editor’s Opinion: Once I heard that Triple H was taking over ..

Special Hometown Moment Takes Place After AEW Dynamite

They’re not done yet. A major wrestling television taping can include all kinds of things in a given night. Some of them are more interesting than others, but there is something special about seeing something that is going to be aired on national, if not international, television. Sometimes though, you even get something that didn’t air on TV and that can be all the better. That was the case again this week. Following this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Blackpool Combat Club came to the ring to celebrate with Jon Moxley, who told people to say a prayer for the injured Hangman Page. This brought out Ryan Nemeth, who Moxley referred to as Dolph Ziggler (Nemeth’s brother), before the Club beat Nemeth up for mocking Cincinnati. Moxley thanked the fans and talked about growing up in Cincinnati, albeit with some microphone issues. After his speech, Moxley talked to a security guard and asked for his thoughts on the Heritage Bank Arena sound system. Moxley put him i..
