WATCH: Two SmackDown Stars Tease Big Heel Turn

To the other side? No matter how talented a wrestler might be, there is always going to be a time when they need some kind of a freshening up. Maybe they need a different look or a different character, but occasionally the right answer is a different direction. The most common version of this is to have a wrestler turn good or bad, and now two WWE stars are teasing such a change. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Second Generation Star Signs With WWE The main event of this week’s SmackDown saw Madcap Moss fall short in his challenge for Gunther’s Intercontinental Title. Moss had his girlfriend Emma in his corner, with Emma having hyped up his chances earlier in the night. After the match, WWE released a video of Emma and Moss blaming the fans for not supporting them. Emma later tweeted that they “deserve better”, signaling a possible heel turn for the two. After a huge win last week I was honestly a bit disappointed with the crowd reaction last night. We deserve better.. http..

Former WWE Star Posts Old Photo, Leading To Speculation About Bray Wyatt Connection

Let him in too? The return of Bray Wyatt at WWE Extreme Rules has changed the main event scene of WWE and now the question becomes what happens from here. There are a lot of ways the story could go and since it’s something involving Wyatt, the chances of someone being added to mix is rather high. WWE has already teased someone new being involved and a former Wyatt associate is hinting that it could be him. Last week on SmackDown, a Wyatt vignette led to a cowboy who said “howdy”, though it was not clear who the man was. Shortly thereafter, former WWE star and Wyatt Family member Erick Redbeard, formerly Erick Rowan, posted an image of himself with his eyes missing, saying it was an “old photo”. This has led to fans speculating that Redbeard could be part of the upcoming Wyatt stable, though it is not clear if that will be the case. Long Time To Go: More On Stephanie McMahon’s WWE Hiatus

That’s a long time. There have been a lot of changes behind the scenes in WWE and some of them could cause a lot of issues for a long time to come. This includes some of the bigger names taking their leave from the company, either long term or short term. Now it seems that perhaps the biggest change might be going on a lot longer than it originally looked to be. Earlier this year, Stephanie McMahon took a leave of absence from WWE and it is not clear when or if she will be returning. Since then, various stories have come out about McMahon’s departure, including stories of her not being successful at her executive job. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the chances of McMahon returning to WWE have greatly diminished following the statements about her. There is always the chance that she could return down the line, but it was ultimately McMahon’s decision to leave and would likely be her decision to return. Opinion: This is one of the more interesting stories in recent WWE..

Homecoming: Proof Of Missing NXT Star Coming Back Under New Persona

I remember you. There are a lot of ways to bring a wrestler back to television after an absence. You might have them show up as a surprise or you might see their return hyped up in advance. Sometimes you, you see the announcement that a new wrestler is coming, only to find out that it is someone you have seen before. That is going to be the case again in the near future. Over the last few weeks, NXT has been running vignettes advertising the debut of a new star named Giovanni Vinci. According to Fightful Select, Vince will be a repackaged Fabian Aichner, who has not been seen since the Imperium stable broke up in April. While Vince’s face has not been seen in the vignettes, he can be seen wearing the same watch as Aichner. There is no word on when Vinci will be debuting. Opinion: I don’t know if this is the biggest surprise as the Italian part was a pretty big hint. It is nice to see Aichner getting to come back, as he has done quite well with the chances that he has had before. Now ..

Scott Hall On Life Support After Suffering Three Heart Attacks

Please get better. Wrestlers are a lot of things, including some of the most over the top, larger than life characters that you will see in all of television. They are able to showcase their abilities in front of a lot of people at the same time, ranging from television to live events. However, they are still humans, and that means bad things can happen to them, which was the case this week. PW Torch is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall is on life support at a hospital in Marietta, Georgia after suffering three heart attacks. Hall underwent hip replacement surgery last week but a blood clot got loose to cause the issue. There is no word on Hall’s chances for survival or what his next steps will be. Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014 on his own and again in 2020 as part of the New World Order. Opinion: All that matters here is Hall’s health and hopefully he is able to make a full recovery. This is about as serious as you can get as Hall is literally survivin..

Update On Samoa Joe’s WWE Status, Possibly Switching To A New Role

It’s another career path. Wrestlers have some limited options when it comes to getting out of the industry. While some are able to retire, there are others who do not have the greatest list of opportunities so they are forced to stay in the ring long after they probably should have hung up their boots. There are other chances available for some though and now we might be seeing one wrestler try something new. WWE held tryouts for this week in Orlando, Florida in an attempt to find new stars for the company. Former NXT Champion Samoa Joe was seen at the camp, scouting talent and taking notes on potential signings. This comes after Joe has not been seen since September, when he vacated the NXT Title due to an undisclosed injury. At the time, Dave Meltzer reported that Joe had been wanted in a backstage role in WWE. There is no word on if Joe will wrestle again. Former WWE Star Teases AEW Debut Next Week

The next one? There have been all kinds of moves between WWE and AEW in recent months and there is nothing to suggest that the chances are going to end. With WWE releasing so many wrestlers, the free agent market has been flooded with talented stars. On top of that, some wrestlers are leaving WWE when their contracts expire, meaning they can show up elsewhere as they please. That might be the case again next week. This week on AEW Dynamite, Adam Cole said that he had a special surprise Christmas present for the Young Bucks on the December 22 show. Later in the night, Kyle O’Reilly responded with an interested emoji and a clip from the movie Seven, asking “what’s in the box”. O’Reilly left WWE last week when his NXT contract expired, meaning that he can appear for any promotion at any time, though there is no guarantee that he is the surprise. ? pic.twitter.com/FbTju4SuSJ — Kyle O'Reilly (@KORcombat) December 16, 2021 O’Reilly has some history with Cole and company. Former WWE Star Confirms Retirement Due To Injury

She would if she could. Wrestling is a rather difficult sport for everyone involved and that has always been the case. No matter how much training or experience someone has, a wrestler has the chance of getting banged up or hurt. Some of those injuries can wreck a wrestler’s career for good and end any chances of them wrestling again. That is the case with a former star. Former WWE star Christy Hemme recently took part in a virtual autograph signing for East Coast Autograph Auctions where she confirmed that she was unable to wrestle another match. Hemme said that she would wrestle again if not for her neck being damaged. The neck injury forced her to retire from the ring, with her most recent match taking place on November 14, 2011. Hemme wrestled for both WWE and Impact Wrestling while also serving other roles, including ring announcer and backstage interviewer. Hemme did a lot over the years. Ring Of Honor TV Results – July 21, 2021

Ring of Honor Date: July 28, 2021 Location: UMBC Event Center, Baltimore, Maryland Commentators: Ian Riccaboni, Caprice Coleman These shows run together pretty badly most weeks, but I’m kind of looking forward to watching it most weeks. It feels like a show where you know you’re going to get something at least pretty good, putting it ahead of most these days. Coming in with low expectations and leaving happy is not a bad thing so maybe the can continue their streak here. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. We recap Mandy Leon cheating to beat Quinn McKay last week, with an assist from Angelina Love. The Allure laughs off the idea that McKay was a challenge and that’s it for her. Quinn McKay keeps the welcome short this week because she got hit in the head with brass knuckles. The only thing more painful than that is knowing her chances to be Women’s Champion are gone. We get the show rundown as usual. Flip Gordon vs. World Famous CB Before the match, Gordon says he has nothing to ..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – May 31, 2021

Monday Night Raw Date: May 31, 2021 Location: Yuengling Center, Tampa, Florida Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton It’s Memorial Day, meaning we might be in for a huge show or it might be one that has absolutely nothing because no one is going to be watching. The main event is Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston to crown a new #1 contender to Bobby Lashley, though that was the case last week as well. Let’s get to it. We get the annual Memorial Day video. Jimmy Smith is introduced as the newest member of the broadcast team and we run down the card. It’s time for MizTV, featuring the return of the un-undead Miz. After the usual intro, Miz talks about how he was hurt in THAT match….but he isn’t sure why John Morrison has garlic around his neck. Morrison says he isn’t going to take any chances with Miz, so he also has his Drip Stick, which is a hand held liquid spraying cannon. Miz: “I love you.” Anyway, Miz knows that it is time to start giving back to superstars, like h..

WWE Tag Team Reunion Nearly Took Place Before Release

What could have been. Earlier this month, WWE released nine wrestlers from their contracts, which offered quite the shakeup to the company’s roster. These releases came fairy out of nowhere though and that means there were chances for something else to happen. Now those plans will not be realized, but we do know what one of them might have been. According to Fightful Select, prior to his release from the company, WWE was considering reuniting Wesley Blake with his NXT tag team partner Buddy Murphy. The two had been meeting with WWE creative to come up with a way to reintroduce them to WWE programming but nothing ever took place. The idea came about after Blake’s other partner, Steve Cutler, was released from the company in January. Blake and Murphy appeared together in NXT, where they were managed by Alexa Bliss. The two won the NXT Tag Team Titles in January 2015 and held them for over seven months. Following their loss, the two failed to recapture their titles and ultimately split,..

Interesting Note On Ronda Rousey Training In Wrestling Again

Welcome back/nice to meet you? Back in 2018, Ronda Rousey took the wrestling world by storm and there was no stopping her until she headlined WrestleMania 35 in the biggest women’s wrestling match of all time. It is rare to see someone become anything like her but she has not been around in over a year and a half. That might be changing though, with a bit of a twist. Relationships are one of the most complicated aspects to a career in wrestling. A wrestler in a relationship is not going to be able to see their significant other very often and that can cause some serious strains. However, one of the exceptions is for couples who both happen to be in the wrestling business. While not yet confirmed, that might play into the chances of Rousey returning to WWE. According to Fightful Select, both Rousey and her husband Travis Browne have been training in a wrestling ring in recent weeks. Browne has never wrestled before but has been working on his selling and timing. He is also still part ..

This wee will see Cedric Alexander vs. Tony Nese for the right to challenge Buddy Murphy for the Cruiserweight Title in a match that totally won’t be on the Kickoff Show. Other than that, Mike Kanellis is running out of chances to prove himself worthy of being on the 205 Live roster. Let’s get to it. Drake Maverick recaps the tournament before tonight’s final. Opening sequence. Here are the Kanellises for a chat before Mike’s (now with no hair) match. Maria says he’s the greatest wrestler in the world and better than the best. Mike is about to prove everyone wrong, including whoever his opponent is. Mike Kanellis vs. Akira Tozawa Tozawa is a mystery opponent. Mike grabs the arm and is immediately driven into a rope for the break. An aggressive fight ove..

Is Seth Rollins Primed for a Return to WWE Raw’s Top Spot?

Seth Rollins came face to face with Triple H on the December 31 edition of Monday Night Raw. The Kingslayer and The Game had words after Rollins demanded his Intercontinental Championship rematch against Dean Ambrose. Hunter said no and that he wanted much more from Seth. Rollins reminded Triple H, as well as the rest of the world, that he had been carrying the program over the past 12 months. But then Seth said precisely what many fans wanted to hear. Rollins said he would take out Brock Lesnar and his Universal Championship. It’s a statement that had to be made at some point. Now that it’s been said, what are the chances that Seth Rollins is indeed headed to the very top of Monday Night Raw? One key issue for fans to remember is that the red brand’s top spot is the company’s top spot. That’s because both belong to Roman Reigns. The Big Dog may be on the shelf right now but he will be back eventually. The only question is, will WWE move forward with someone else in Roman’s place unti..

Rumor: Sami Zayn Still “A Few Months” Away From Being Cleared

Sami Zayn has been out of action for several months after tearing both of his rotator cuffs this summer. With the Royal Rumble coming around, most people are wondering if the “Underdog From the Underground” will be an entrant in the match. WWE officials do like to surprise the WWE Universe, but the chances of him wrestling are really slim. During a recent appearance on Talk is Jericho, Zayn explained that he’s still a couple of months away from being medically cleared. He also went into detail about not being in a hurry to return to the road and enjoying his time away from the ring. A lot of people will take that out of context, but Sami really means is he’s enjoying the time he has off. Related: Update On Return Dates For Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn WWE has been running vignettes for his return to Raw for the past few weeks. If Zayn is really still a few months off, that’s unfair to set the expectation that Sami will be back in time for the Royal Rumble. Depending on how close they ar..

KB’s Review: Just Wait For April

I’m a big baseball fan. I’ve watched and followed the game pretty closely for most of my life and we’re coming up on one of my favorite times of the season: the trade deadline. This is one of the last chances to change your team and gear up for the postseason by adding players and fixing some of the big holes in your roster. Some teams go big and some teams like to stick with what they have, but almost every contender likes to make some kind of a move. Looking at the WWE, how many people on the Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live rosters could use a change of scenery? How many new and fresh stories could be told with just the simplest of a roster move? Someone isn’t working out on Monday? Send them to Tuesday and get a team that can bolster your roster a bit. Need a new challenger to the Women’s Title? Well we’ve got the former #1 contender to the Intercontinental Title right here to even things out a bit. These things can happen. Matt Taven Explains The "Kingdom Conspiracy"

Matt Taven wonders why he has not been given more chances at the ROH World Championship. In an interview with Sporting News, Matt Taven explained how the "Kingdom Conspiracy" is based in reality. The members of the Kingdom have been complaining about how they are treated by Ring of Honor and Taven said he has not been given the opportunities he has earned. “I have a serious question of 'why?' I've been in Ring of Honor for five years. I've won every title that they have to offer besides one and I've only had two opportunities at that title. Both matches had interference in them but nothing was ever done about it. I was never given an honest chance, an honest shake with a rematch and even opportunity. I feel like I deserve it. The only thing I'm asking Ring of Honor is what I deserve,” said Taven. Also during the interview, Taven discussed how he and the rest of The Kingdom created a spectacle outside of Supercard of Honor XII to express their discont..

Several Names Added to Both “Wrestlemania” Battle Royals

Andre would be proud. With “Wrestlemania XXXIV” less than three weeks away, it’s time to start filling in the final spots on the card. This includes adding names to the men’s and women’s battle royals, the former of which was only confirmed this week. Several names were added this week on “Smackdown Live”. They’ve fought before and they’ll fight again in New Orleans. [This post contains video, click to play] This week, Baron Corbin and Tye Dillinger were both added to the men’s battle royal. In addition, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Naomi and Becky Lynch were all confirmed for the Women’s Wrestlemania Battle Royal. These are the first women to be confirmed for the match. How did these names get in? Find out here. Opinion: It’s too early to say who is going to win these matches but at the same time there aren’t many chances left to fill in the lineups. There are two weeks left of each show and there are less than ten names announced each. With so many names left to be ad..
