A valet reportedly found the gun and called authorities, leading to the arrest. Deville has possessed the weapon since she was stalked by a fan in August 2020. The gun is registered to her in Florida but not in New Jersey and Deville has a hearing scheduled for later this month. We are a little over a month away from Deadline and for reasons I don’t quite grasp, Von Wagner is next in line for the NXT Title shot. The good thing is that match is set for next week so it won’t drag down a major show, but we could be in for a rough two weeks. Hopefully the rest of the show can balance it out. Let’s get to it. Joe Gacy vs. Cameron Grimes Gacy, now in regular trunks instead of his full body gear, has the rest of Schism with him and gets knocked into the corner to start. That is where NXT can be valuable, as they are able to hand the main roster some new talent after having them built up in the developmental system. Grimes made a brief appearance on Monday Night Raw last month to recruit the OC to help him against the Schism in NXT. This can take a variety of forms, with wrestlers often trying out different gimmicks to see what they can make work. Sometimes their talents spill over outside of the ring and that is what some WWE stars have done again. WWE has released a music video of Shotzi, Scarlett Bordeaux and Harley Cameron singing I Put A Spell On You from the movie Hocus Pocus. The three have released music before, with Cameron as the featured star and Shotzi and Bordeaux as featured performers. There’s the big one. NXT has come a long way in its history but it still has a lot of things that it needs to do. The most important of these things is to continue to develop stars for the future of WWE, which is where the main event scene comes into play. The promotion has quite the talent roster, and now some of those stars are going to be meeting in a pretty high profile match. This week on NXT, Cameron Grimes challenged Bron Breakker for an NXT Title shot at the Great American Bash on July 5, with Breakker accepting. Grimes spoke about how Breakker got where he is based on his name, while Grimes had no family legacy to get him started. Injury Update On NXT Star, Might Not Be That Bad

That could be worse. There are a lot of ways for a wrestler to miss time from the ring and an injury is one of the worst. It can cut off someone’s career in a hurry and the question becomes how long they are going to miss action. That can make for some serious issues and unfortunately there is little that can be done other than waiting. Now though, the wait might not be long. Last weekend, Tony D’Angelo injured his shoulder during a match at an NXT live event. D’Angelo’s match against Cameron Grimes was stopped, with D’Angelo not wrestling again since. However, according to F4WOnline.com, D’Angelo’s injury is not serious and he should be able to return to the ring soon. The next two weeks of NXT have been taped in advance so D’Angelo will be appearing on the shows with no issue. It is not clear when he will be allowed to wrestle again. It’s the risk you take. You never know when you are going to see a wrestler get injured. It can happen to anyone at any time and that is never a good thing to see. Wrestling is a physical sport and that means there is always the chance that someone could go down at any given time. That seems to be the case again at an NXT event, as a wrestler seems to have gotten hurt. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Tony D’Angelo was injured at the NXT live event in Largo, Florida. D’Angelo’s match against Cameron Grimes was stopped due to a shoulder injury with Grimes being awarded the victory. A championship changing hands can be a very important moment for someone, as it can mean the first major win of a wrestler’s career or a step back up after being knocked down. That was the case this weekend, as two titles changed hands in one night. There were two title changes on Saturday night at NXT In Your House. First up, Carmelo Hayes defeated Cameron Grimes to win the NXT North American Title. Grimes had won the title from Hayes in a five man ladder match at Stand & Deliver. Next, the Creed Brothers defeated Pretty Deadly to win the NXT Tag Team Titles for the first time. Had the Brothers lost, they would have been out of the Diamond Mine.
