He was requested. There are all kinds of people who come together to make a wrestling show work and some of them do not get the attention they deserve. That’s a busy night. There is a lot of action on the night of any given AEW television taping. You never know what you are going to see when the promotion comes to town and that makes for quite a few moments. This week’s edition of AEW Dynamite took place in Norfolk, Virginia and ended with the Firm attacking Maxwell Jacob Friedman, who was put through a table. According to PWInsider.com, after the show went off the air, Friedman got to his feet and left the arena under his own power. AEW President Tony Khan then came out to introduce Hook, who held up the FTW Title. Khan then thanked the fans for coming and left to end the night. WATCH: Stacked Match Takes Place After This Week’s SmackDown

The night isn’t over. With so many talented stars on the WWE roster, it can be difficult to figure out how to get a lot of people on television. Even with five hours of main roster television time to fill every week, there are still wrestlers who are not on the show. While it might not be the same, there is still the chance to wrestle after the cameras go off and six wrestlers got to do that this week. Following this week’s edition of SmackDown, the team of Shinsuke Nakamura and the Street Profits defeated Imperium in a post-show dark match. Nakamura pinned Ludvig Kaiser after Kinshasa to win the match. All six appeared on the SmackDown broadcast, but none of them wrestled. Former WWE Star Gets Very Good Legal News

That’s a good step forward. Wrestlers are larger than life characters who are regularly on television doing things that no one else would ever do in regular life. That can make for some rather interesting moments, though that is not the end of what happens to them. There are several things that take place after the cameras stop rolling and now a former wrestler is getting some good news in his personal life. Last month, Patrick Clark, better known as Velveteen Dream, was arrested twice in the span of a week on various charges. However, according to PWInsider.com, the August 20 charges of First Degree Battery and Trespassing have been closed, as a hearing scheduled for September 28 has been canceled. Opinion: That is some good news for Clark, but he still has more than enough legal issues to worry about. ..

WATCH: Brawl And Title Defense Take Place After WWE SmackDown

Hold tight because the show is not over. WWE presents a lot of television on any given week and it can be difficult to keep track of everything that they do. It doesn’t help that they company has so many wrestlers that sometimes they do not have enough time to get everyone on the shows. That being said, just because the cameras stop rolling doesn’t mean the action is over. That was the case this week as well. There were two post show segments following this week’s WWE SmackDown. First up, Ronda Rousey came to the ring and addressed the crowd, only to be interrupted by Natalya. A fight broke out and Rousey cleared Natalya from the ring. Rousey had appeared on the show in a backstage segment with Liv Morgan. Next, Bobby Lashley successfully defended the United States Title against Austin Theory. FULL MATCH: Title Match Takes Place After This Week’s WWE SmackDown

The evening was young. There are a lot of wrestlers under the WWE banner but there is only so much television time for all of them to share. On occasion that is not going to be enough to go around but WWE is known for putting on some more material after the cameras go off. That was the situation again this week as WWE was able to get in a dry run of an upcoming title match. As seen on Twitter, this week’s post SmackDown dark match saw United States Champion Bobby Lashley successfully defend his title against Ciampa. This is the same match that will be taking place next week on Monday Night Raw, after Ciampa earned the shot in a series of matches on this week’s show. Check out the full match from after SmackDown: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes sense for WWE, as the two of them getting to put in some practice befor..

WATCH: Keith Lee’s Emotional Speech After AEW Dynamite

A bittersweet moment. Wrestlers do a lot of things in front of the cameras and most of the time, it can be pretty entertaining. That leaves fans with quite a few things to see, often as part of a live crowd. You get to see all kinds of things when you go to a live television taping, some of which is done after the television cameras are turned off. That was the case again this week in a rather emotional moment. The main event of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland win the Tag Team Titles from the Young Bucks in a three way match, also involving Team Taz. WATCH: Jim Duggan’s Inspirational Message About His Health Issues (This Is Great)

That’s the spirit. Wrestlers are larger than life characters that we watch every single week on TV. AEW Star Reportedly Arrested Over Domestic Violence Charges

That’s a serious one. There are all kinds of wrestlers in the world and some of them are among the most larger than life characters that you will find in any form of entertainment. Watching them on television can be a lot of fun and you do not know what you might get to see from one week to the next. However, these wrestlers have lives once the cameras turn off as well and now one of them is having a serious issue. According to PWInsider.com, AEW’s Jake Atlas has been arrested and reportedly charged with domestic assault. Atlas had called his partner to pick him up at a bar before suggesting that the two go to a third person’s home. This resulted in an argument when Atlas’ partner paid more attention to the third person involved than Atlas. Atlas is scheduled to be arraigned on misdemeanor battery charges..

WRESTLING RUMORS: Possible Backstage Heat On CM Punk In AEW

That would be a problem. There are two different worlds in wrestling and only one of them takes place in front of the camera. In addition to what happens in front of an audience, there is everything that happens when the cameras are off. That can include backstage issues between the wrestlers and we might have seen one of them take place in front of our eyes. According to Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio, there may be some backstage heat on CM Punk in AEW. The two both cited the promo exchange between Punk and Hangman Page this week on Dynamite, saying that it felt like the Shawn Michaels/Bret Hart exchanges from the Attitude Era. This is seen as speculation as the two did not say that there were definite issues between the two or heat on Punk for that matter. Opinion: That is quite a bit to infer off of a single exchange. There is a very real chance that AEW was trying to make the segment feel more like a worked shoot, which means that they did very well. M..

WATCH: Wrestling Legends Appear On Judge Steve Harvey

That’s a different kind of appearance. Wrestlers are larger than life personalities by design and that has been the case for a very long time now. What makes them all the more interesting is the fact that eventually the cameras go off and the wrestlers become themselves. That often puts them into more common situations, but this time around even the normal situation had a bit of a twist. Wrestling legends JJ Dillon, under his real name of Jim Morrison, and Kevin Sullivan appeared on Judge Steve Harvey this week. The two were involved in a case involving $7,500 that Dillon loaned Sullivan to buy a boat. Dillon said to “pay him back whenever”, which Sullivan thought meant he had more time. Harvey mentioned being a wrestling fan and the two discussed some of their careers. Eventually Harvey ordered Sullivan to pay the money, though the court footed the bill as a thank you for the years of entertainment. Sullivan and Dillon agreed to remain friends after the situation was over. It was qu..

WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Hall Of Famer Arrested Yet Again

Yes, again. Wrestlers are people who play larger than life characters on television. It is the best way possible to get them noticed by an audience, though it is rarely a reflection of who they are when the cameras go off. When that happens, things can go badly for them just like anyone else in the world and unfortunately that seems to be the case again with a certain wrestling legend. According to Wrestlingnews.co, WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch, better known as Sunny, has been arrested again in Keansburg, New Jersey. Sytch is facing a list of charges, including: – OPERATING UNDER INFLUENCE OF LIQUOR OR DRUGS – DRIVING AFTER DL/REGISTRATION SUSPENDED/REVOKED – CARELESS DRIVING: LIKELY TO ENDANGER PERSON OR PROPERTY – RECKLESS DRIVING – FAILURE TO WEARSEAT EQUIPMENT-RESPONSIBILITY OF DRIVER – DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE – FAIL POSS DRIV LIC – FAIL TO POSS DRIV REG – FAIL TO POSS DRIV INS CARD – FAILURE TO INSTALL INTERLOCK/DRIVE CAR W/O INTERLOCK – OPERATE MV DURING LICENSE SUSPENSION-2..
