Another. We are coming up on the four year anniversary of AEW’s first event with Double Or Nothing 2019. The company hit the ground running and has gone on to become the second biggest wrestling promotion in the world. That is the kind of thing that can change the wrestling industry, and now it seems that we might be getting to see even more of AEW on a regular basis. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Trish Stratus Planned For Major WWE Feud According to the Mat Men podcast, AEW and Warner Brothers Discovery are finalizing an agreement for a third weekly AEW television show, which would run for an hour on Saturdays. There is no word on when the show would debut or when/where it would be broadcast. AEW currently runs two weekly television shows with Dynamite and Rampage plus two weekly web series with Dark and Dark: Elevation. AEW has a lot of content. That’s a serious one. Injuries can take out any wrestler at any time and you never know when you are going to see someone put on the shelf for a good while. The question becomes just how bad the injury is and how long the recovery time is going to be. This time it seems that an NXT star has suffered one of the more severe injuries that they could receive. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Talk To Me: WWE Introduces New Broadcaster With Independent Background NXT’s Amari Miller has announced that she has suffered a torn ACL and will be undergoing surgery next week. While Miller did not list a time frame for her recovery, a torn ACL normally requires nearly a year of recovery. There is no word on when or how she suffered her injury. Miller made her NXT debut in September 2021 and has mainly competed on NXT LVL Up, though she has occasionally wrestled on NXT as well.
