Tis the season. Wrestling is about having fun and entertaining the fans in one way or another. There are multiple ways to do just that and some of them are a lot goofier than others. At times, the best thing that can be done is just do something entertaining without trying to be overly serious. That took place again this weekend as an annual tradition was brought back. NXT brought back its Halloween costume battle royal over the weekend at a live event in Melbourne, Florida. The match included several women competing for an NXT Women’s Title shot against Mandy Rose in the show’s main event. Thea Hail, who was dressed as Andre Chase, won the battle royal but lost to Rose in the title match. Here are some of the participants, including how their costumes looked: NXT did a Halloween Battle Royal tonight with the women. Some costumes: Cora: AJ Lee Roxanne: Bayley Wendy: Sumo wrestler Valentina: Nurse Thea: Andre Chase Sloane: Poison Ivy Zoey: Triple H Jacy: Taker Gigi: Chucky Sol..

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Super Show-Down Date: October 6, 2018 Location: Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne, Australia Commentators: Michael Cole, Renee Young, Corey Graves We’re at the latest big international show here and that means…well it’s hard to say actually. There’s a lot going on at the moment in WWE but they have a tendency to turn these shows into a glorified house show with almost nothing happening. Hopefully WWE has figured that out and knows that we need to actually get something important on the show. Let’s get to it. Th..
What a masterpiece. On October 6, Triple H will face the Undertaker for the last time ever at the Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia. This match is built entirely around the history between the two, which is mostly centered around their one match at WrestleMania 28. The match was an absolute masterpiece and still holds up to this day. It holds up well enough that it’s worth seeing again. What a performance. [This post contains video, click to play] WWE has posted the full version of the Undertaker vs. Triple H Hell in a Cell match with Shawn Michaels as guest referee inside Hell in a Cell at WrestleMania 28. The match was billed as the End of an Era with the previous three WrestleManias being billed all setting up this one final match. The entrances and iconic post match scene between the three of them are included as well. Opinion: The more I see this match, the more I absolutely love it. They played the emotions to perfection here with shows such as Undertaker stepping on ..

Cena was cast as the leading man in the film, a huge role for the growing Hollywood star. The Rock took to his Instagram account to comment on Cena’s new role: Found my star! Congrats to my good bud John Cena on landing the lead role for our movie, THE JANSON DIRECTIVE. A project that myself, @sevenbucksprod, our production partners and Universal Studios have been developing for years now. Congrats man and I’m excited to go on this journey with you.
While speaking to Chris Van Vilet, former WWE Supestar Evan Bourne commented on his position within the cruiserweights and claimed that he was the best out there. Here is what he said:

“I’m the best Crusierweight, X Division, Junior Heavyweight wrestler whatever you want to call it. The way that everybody tries to put their matches on, they’re basically just trying to do what I do. It’s as simple as that. I was just lucky to be there ahead of the curve to be the driving force behind bringing this amazing style of wrestling from Japan that combined Lucha Libre, American professional wrestling, Canadian professional wrestling and Japanese wrestling all into one beautiful mix that fans worldwide absolutely can’t get enough of.”

You can check out footage of him making those remarks in the video below:
