This has been the case with all kinds of sports, but now it seems that another wrestler is interested in trying her hand at a sport outside of wrestling. Brooke also mentioned that she hoped to book herself into a boxing fight later this year. It’s Revolution and things are not exactly feeling hot coming into the show. The main event is a sixty minute Iron Man match with Bryan Danielson challenging MJF for the World Title, which means there won’t be as much time for the usual deep card this time. Other than that, we have Hangman Page vs. Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match and Christian Cage vs. Jungle Boy in what seems to be a Buried Alive match. Let’s get to it. Zero Hour: Mark Briscoe/Lucha Bros vs. Ari Daivari/Varsity Athletes The Mark Briscoe vs. Mark Sterling and company feud continues for reasons I don’t think I follow. Briscoe also has some new friends in the Lucha Bros and that means we could be in for a new trio. The division could certainly use them, but for now they have to get rid of something like this, as AEW is giving them a nice spot to get their feet wet as a three man team. Of course I’ll take Briscoe and the Bros here, as there is no reason to suggest that Daivari and company will ever be winning anything..
Maybe next time. There are certain stars in wrestling who have become legends in their own time. Since it is wrestling, there is always the chance that they might come back to the ring later, even at the age that most mainstream athletes would long since have retired. There was a hope that some legends would be back in the ring later this year, but that does not seem likely.
