AJ Lee Returning To Wrestling Business In Surprise Announcement
Welcome back. There are a lot of people involved in the wrestling industry every day but not everyone is going to stick around. Every now and then you see someone who has a strong career but then walks away from wrestling. That can leave a lot of people wondering what happened to them or if we will ever see them again. Now we will be seeing another former star again, albeit in a different role. Wednesday night, WOW Women of Wrestling announced their return, which will take place in December with a new television show airing in syndication. According to the press release, by way of 411mania.com, former WWE Divas Champion AJ Mendez, formerly known as AJ Lee, will be an executive producer of the series, as well as providing color commentary on the weekly television show. I guess you need to know what to say. According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, prior to WWE’s press conference in which they made the announcement of Wrestlemania 36, the company handed a series of do’s and don’ts to the mainstream media reporters that were covering the event. It contained a set of instructions about the verbiage that media outlets can and cannot use when writing reports about WWE. Here is the list: 1) When referring to our talent, we ask that you refer to them as WWE Superstars both for the men and women and NOT as “professional wrestlers;” 2) As of March 2016, our female Superstars are NO longer referred to as WWE Divas, so please call them WWE Superstars; 3) Please refer to our company as WWE and NOT World Wrestling Entertainment; 4) Please do not refer to our company as “the WWE,” but rather “WWE.” 5) Please do NOT use the term “professional wrestling,” instead using WWE or Sports Entertainment to describe our brand (E.G. “We have..

Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler Pregnant With Second Child
According to WrestlingInc, by way of US Weekly, former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler is pregnant with her second child. Now 38-years-old, Keibler is expecting her second child with husband Jared Pobre. This was confirmed after US Weekly spotted the former Superstar in Beverly Hills sporting a baby bump. Keibler broke up with famous actor George Clooney back in July 2013. Just two months later, she began dating Pobre, a tech entrepreneur. The two would be married on March 8, 2014, in a beach wedding in Mexico, which was a surprise to their families, who had been flown in for the vacation. It was on August 20, 2014, when the couple would welcome their first child, Ava Grace, into the world. Since this time, Keibler has stopped posting on her social media, has disbanded her online website and kept a relatively low profile since. After WrestleMania 31, AJ Lee quietly retired from wrestling and has not appeared on WWE programming since. She’s been busy writing her autobiography and becoming an advocate for bipolar disorder awareness. Every so often, she’ll be asked about a return to WWE. Even with everything happening with her husband, you can never say never. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, it seems very unlikely the former WWE Divas Champion will return to the company any time soon. AJ mentioned in her book that she made the choice to step away from the ring in 2015 due to some ongoing physical issues. Johnny Impact To Appear on “Survivor” In The Fall
Wrestling to surviving on an island is a natural progression, right? It was announced last night on the Season 36 Finale of Survivor, that current Impact superstar Johnny Impact will be one of the castaways on the upcoming 37th season of the show. Filmed in Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands, the show will air this fall on CBS. This had been rumored a couple of weeks ago, but was confirmed last night. This is not the first time that a professional wrestler has appeared on the show; former WWE Diva Search winner Ashley Massaro competed on Survivor: China in 2007. However, she didn’t last very long, as she was the second person voted out of the game. This past Tuesday on SmackDown Live a day after officially announcing her retirement from in-ring competition, former two-time WWE Divas Champion Paige was revealed as the new GM of the blue-brand. The former GM Daniel Bryan has returned to his role as a full-time competitor now that he is cleared. Paige's first move as GM came in the form of putting together a fantasy match between AJ Styles & Daniel Bryan for that edition of SmackDown Live.
