That’s a big change. There are all kinds of wrestler in WWE, to the point where the company is able to split its roster into multiple sections. That can be rather difficult to keep track of but WWE does it as well as they can with Monday Night Raw and SmackDown having their own set of wrestlers. At least that is in theory, but the situation might be changing soon. According to Wrestling Observer Live, while the decision is not official, the WWE brand Split is all but finished. Several Monday Night Raw wrestlers will be heading to SmackDown this week, including Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, though it is not clear if the two will be on camera. It is not clear if WWE will officially be ending the Brand Split or just loosening it, as has been the case in recent weeks. The roster is so big that it is divided into several groups who primarily appear on their own show. That is a concept called the Brand Split, but the rosters have started to come together a little bit more over the last few months. It turns out that might not be a sign of things to come. WWE has announced that the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles will be unified at the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash event. That’s a way to get people watching. The WWE Brand Split has changed the way the company is run again and that is a good thing in a lot of ways. It almost splits the company in two with Monday Night Raw and SmackDown being made into separate rosters. The is the kind of thing that can make for some interesting moments and we got to see one of those on Friday night. One of the major appeals of the Brand Split is having the wrestlers kept apart for most of the year. It makes for some great ways to set up some major matches because you don’t get to see them very often. WWE makes a big deal out of having the roster going at each other on special occasions, with Survivor Series being one of them. We got a previous of it this week.
