AEW Revolution 2023 Results

Revolution 2023 Date: March 5, 2023 Location: Chase Center, San Francisco, California Commentators: Excalibur, Taz, Jim Ross We’re back with another AEW pay per view and that should mean something really good. The television shows haven’t been the strongest in recent weeks but that has never stopped the pay per views from being special. The main event will feature MJF defending the World Title against Bryan Danielson in an Iron Man match, which should be…uh, long. Let’s get to it. Zero Hour: Lucha Bros/Mark Briscoe vs. Varsity Athletes/Ari Daivari Mark Sterling are here with the Varsity Athletes (Tony Nese/Josh Woods) and Daivari. Nese poses at Penta to start but Penta is right back with CERO MIEDO. All six come in to strike it out with Penta and Nese being left alone in the ring. Made In Penta gives Penta a quick two before Daivari has to save Sterling. The villains take over on Penta by whipping him into the corner and Woods adds a suplex for two. The Athletes double suplex Penta ..

AEW Rampage Results – March 3, 2023

Rampage Date: March 3, 2023 Location: Cow Palace, San Francisco, California Commentators: Chris Jericho, Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Jim Ross It’s the final show before Revolution and that means this week is live. Normally I would say a pay per view card is set two days before the show but AEW has a tendency to throw in a bunch of stuff at the last minute. This week will also see Dustin Rhodes/Keith Lee vs. Mogul Affiliates so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Aussie Open vs. Claudio Castagnoli/Wheeler Yuta vs. Top Flight vs. Dark Order The Dark Order jumps Castagnoli/Yuta in the aisle to start but Top Flight dives onto all four of them. Aussie Open drives Top Flight together as JR talks about needing to win to get a pay per view pay day. Ross: “Am I right about that?” And he is completely ignored, as that doesn’t seem to be right. We get inside for the bell with Top Flight dropkicking Aussie Open with Davis being knocked to the floor. Reynolds comes in and hits a running elbow on ..

AEW Dynamite Results – March 1, 2023

Dynamite Date: March 1, 2023 Location: Cow Palace, San Francisco, California Commentators: Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, Taz It’s the go home Dynamite for Revolution and that means we have a stacked show. This time around that includes the Face of the Revolution ladder match plus a Casino tag team battle royal to determine the fourth team in Sunday’s four way Tag Team Title match. That should be more than enough to carry the show so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. All-Atlantic Title: Orange Cassidy vs. Big Bill Bill, with Stokely Hathaway, is challenging. Cassidy gets backed to the floor to start and the chase is on, with Cassidy messing with Bill’s mind. With nothing else working, Cassidy even steals Stokely’s glasses before tumbling away from Bill. Back in and the tornado DDT is countered into a side slam to plant Cassidy for the first time. A running big boot puts Cassidy on the floor and it’s time to set up the table (which they do move to the end of the ramp for once). Cassidy..

The Revolution Will Be Televised: AEW Reveals Details For Next Pay Per View In New Market

That’s the next one. For the better part of forty years, pay per views have been the most important events in wrestling. A pay per view event would often feature the biggest stars in the most important matches and it was a special feeling when one took place. That is still the case today and one major company only presents a pay per view every few months. Now we know when the next one will be held. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Busy Night: Several Title Changes Take Place At AEW Full Gear During the post AEW Full Gear media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan announced that the company’s first pay per view of 2023, Revolution, will take place on Sunday March 5 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. Revolution will be the first AEW pay per view to be held in California, with previous editions taking place in Illinois or Florida. This will also be a rare Sunday pay per view, as most AEW events are held on Saturday. The media scrum was big. Check out the event in full, plus Revolution o..

Bandido No Shows Prominent Independent Show, Not Answering Calls

Hopefully he’s ok. There are a lot of wrestling shows in the world on any given day and some of them have quite the lineup. You might not see the top WWE or AEW stars on any given card, but some of the talent from other promotions will blow your mind. That seemed to be the case at a card this weekend, but now something seems to have happened to prevent a match from taking place. Game Changer Wrestling has announced that Bandido has no shown their Devil In A New Dress event in San Francisco, California. Bandido did not board his flight and has not responded to any of the company’s messages and according to 411mania.com, Effy will take Bandido’s place against Nick Wayne. Bandido last wrestled at the WrestleCon USA vs. The World event on April 2. It appears as though @bandidowrestler did not get on his flight to San Francisco today for tonight's GCW event. We haven't heard from him and he hasn't replied to any of our messages. We apologize and will do our best to come u..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – October 11, 2021

Monday Night Raw Date: October 11, 2021 Location: Chase Center, San Francisco, California Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Corey Graves, Byron Saxton We’re less than two weeks away from Crown Jewel and last week, Smackdown added a Hell in the Cell match to the card. That could mean Raw needs to add a huge match of its own, but you never can tell with these things. Hopefully this show can add a nice feeling to the Queen’s Crown Tournament, as the Smackdown matches were nearly insulting last week. Let’s get to it. Here is Drew McIntyre, with his sword, to get things going. He thinks it’s a fun idea that the Scottish Warrior is kicking it off in the home of the Warriors and welcomes us to the show. Drew runs down the Crown Jewel card and says he’ll be winning the WWE Title in the match everyone is going to be talking about. McIntyre has a story from earlier today but here is Big E. to interrupt. Big E. talks about the sweet nectar of being champion dripping down his chin and between his nipp..

REVIEW: Superbrawl 2000: When It Isn’t Needed Anymore

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over ten years now and have reviewed over 5,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? SuperBrawl 2000 Date: February 20, 2000 Location: Cow Palace, San Francisco, California Attendance: 8,569 Commentators: Tony Schiavone, Mark Madden, Mike Tenay Well the TV shows have been some of the least interesting things I’ve ever had to sit through, so maybe the pay per view will be the complete opposite and be entertaining. I mean, stranger things have happened right? The main events tonight are Sid Vicious defending the World Title against Jeff Jarrett and Scott Hall in a three way, plus Hogan vs. Luger and Fu..
