Michael Elgin Responds To Rumor Of Being Arrested For Stealing

And now, the other side. It can be difficult to find out what is really going on in wrestling as you will have someone saying one thing and someone else saying another. Throw in the fact that the majority of wrestling is built on the idea of people not telling the truth. This time around, two sides are telling two very different sides of a story and it could make quite the difference. Over the weekend, a rumor began circulating that former Ring Of Honor World Champion and current Pro Wrestling Noah star Michael Elgin had been arrested in Japan for stealing protein powder. This could have resulted in either jail time or expulsion from Japan as punishment. Elgin has since responded, saying that the story is not true and that he is leaving Japan to return to his native Canada after the death of a close relative. Elgin emphasized that he is not charged with anything, facing jail time or being deported. Pro Wrestling Noah has not commented on the situation other than saying Elgin would mis..

WRESTLING RUMOR: Former World Champion Arrested For Theft, Faces Possible Jail Time

He might be gone for a bit. Wrestlers are larger than life characters who are able to do all kinds of things that will blow your mind on a regular basis. It takes some special talents to make that work, but at the same time, the wrestlers you are still seeing are humans. That means you are going to see them make mistakes, and now that might be the case again with a pretty serious situation. Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan has announced that former Ring Of Honor World Champion Michael Elgin has been arrested, resulting in him being pulled from upcoming cards. According to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, Elgin was arrested for theft of protein powder and could face up to five years in prison. There is a chance that a deal could be made to allow Elgin to avoid jail time by having him leave Japan, as was the case with Matt Sydal in 2016. [7.10 Shizuoka – Notice of wrestler absence & change of match card] Michael Elgin, who was scheduled to participate in the Shizuoka event on Sunday, July 1..

Former Impact Wrestling Star Suing Company For A Lot Of Money

That’s a bad way to go. There are a lot of wrestlers in the industry and the majority of them come and go without doing much of note. When you think about it, only a small handful make it to the big leaves and even a smaller handful of them are successes on that level. Sometimes wrestlers do things that are noteworthy for reasons that are more infamous than anything else, which might be the case again. According to PWInsider.com, former Impact Wrestling star Michael Elgin is suing the company for breach of contract. Impact Wrestling removed Elgin from television following sexual misconduct allegations against him. Elgin was removed from Impact Wrestling television on June 26, 2022 over allegations in the SpeakingOut Movement and is claiming that his career was damaged as a result. He is also claiming that he was told he was being removed based on statements against him with Impact never conducting an investigation. Elgin has released a video going into detail on the case, saying his ..

Impact Wrestling Shakes Up Slammiversary Main Event

You have to try something else. The last few weeks has seen a whirlwind of changes in Impact Wrestling due to a variety of issues. The biggest of them all has been in the main event scene, where two of the five members of the Slammiversary main event are suddenly gone from the company, including the reigning World Champion. Things had to be changed and now we know where that is going. Last week, Impact Wrestling released both Michael Elgin and reigning World Champion Tessa Blanchard. This left the Slammiversary main event with only three of the five scheduled entrants, meaning that something had to be changed. Due to the company’s taping schedule, the news could not be immediately announced on television. Some time has passed now though and now we have a new main event. During this week’s Impact Wrestling, a new main event was announced for Slammiversary. The show will now feature a fatal four way main event, with the three previous entrants, meaning Trey, Eddie Edwards and Ace Austi..

Impact Wrestling Date: June 9, 2020 Location: Skyway Studios, Nashville, Tennessee Commentators: Madison Rayne, Josh Matthews It’s a big night as we get to find out the future of the World Title. Last week Ace Austin won the #1 contenders tournament, which was rather odd as he beat someone who wasn’t even entered. Never let it be said that things go as you might expect around here, though that’s not necessarily a good thing. Let’s get to it. Opening recap. Opening sequence. Don Callis and Scott D’Amore aren’t sure what to do about the World Title situation. Ken Shamrock vs. Michael Elgin vs. Sami Callihan Shamrock and Elgin start brawling before Sami shows up, meaning the lights go out so Sami can show up. Sami sends the other two outside but gets pulled out of the air and driven into the apron. Shamrock is back up with a dive onto both of them but Elgin hits a middle rope dropkick back inside. Elgin sends Shamrock into the post and suplexes Callihan down for two. A hard whip int..

Impact Wrestling Date: March 17, 2020 Location: Sam’s Town Live, Las Vegas, Nevada Commentators: Don Callis, Josh Matthews We’re almost to the last taping cycle from this company for a good while. Last week’s show ended with the announcement that Tessa Blanchard would defend the World Title against both Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards at Rebellion. That’s kind of a problem now as there is likely no Rebellion, meaning this could be a rather interesting show if they didn’t edit things. Let’s get to it. The opening recap looks at the end of last week’s show, with Blanchard agreeing to the triple threat match. Opening sequence. Tag Team Titles: The North vs. TJP/Fallah Bahh TJP and Bahh are challenging after winning some singles matches and a non-title match to set this up. The brawl is on before the referee can lower the titles, meaning the champions try to hit Bahh in the head for some reason. Alexander gets hit with Poetry In Motion and a belly to belly from Bahh. TJP gets caught in..

Let’s get to it. Opening recap. Opening sequence. Mad Man Fulton vs. Rhino The Crists are at ringside….and get ejected early on for trying to interfere. With the two of them gone, Rhino shoulders him down and takes it to the floor for a ram into the apron. A clothesline hits the post though and Fulton sends him into the apron as well. Back in and Fulton pounds away in the corner, followed by a running shoulder to the ribs. Rhino fights back up with some right hands to the head, only to get elbowed right back down for two.
