Welcome Home: Another Monday Night Raw Star Set For NXT Return

It’s a homecoming. NXT has been a complete game changer for WWE, as the company has its own developmental system, which happens to air on national television. As a result, NXT stars have become big deals in their own right, with the show having a legacy of its own. That includes names from before NXT went national, but now one of them will be appearing on the bigger version of the show. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s A Way Out: Speculation Over How WWE Could Solve Tag Team Titles Dilemma WWE has announced that Bayley will be appearing on this week’s edition of NXT for a special edition of her Ding Dong Hello show, featuring Toxic Attraction as her guests. Bayley is a former NXT Women’s Champion and member of the Four Horsewomen who helped establish the NXT women’s division before NXT began airing on television. There is nothing to suggest that this is anything more than a one off appearance. BREAKING: @itsBayleyWWE will be on #WWENXT this Tuesday for a special edition of "Ding Dong Hel..

Grayson Waller Confronts Shawn Michaels On Media Conference Call

Nowhere is safe anymore. Following last night’s NXT: Vengeance Day premium live event, Shawn Michaels did a media conference call to discuss the show. However, he was not alone, as Grayson Waller decided to make his feelings known. Waller interrupted Michaels during the call and shared his frustrations about not being HBK’s guy. Waller felt that Carmelo Hayes has taken that place, as was shown in the final moments of the show. Matt Bloom ended up entering the room and removed Waller before he took things too far. You can see the conference call below: [This post contains video, click to play] Grayson Waller just interrupted the #VengeanceDay media call! VERY angry at Shawn Michaels. HOLY CRAP! Kofi Kingston Makes WWE History at NXT Deadline

Another one for the history books. This past Sunday at NXT Deadline, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods captured the NXT tag team championships by defeating Pretty Deadly. While this was a great moment for The New Day, this championship victory was also historic in a number of ways. As a result of their victory, Kingston broke the record for the most tag team championships in WWE history with 15. The previous record was held by Booker T, who had 14 championship reigns. Kofi Kingston has now officially broken the record for most tag-title reigns in @WWE history. A now record 15x Tag-Team champion ???@TrueKofi pic.twitter.com/o9rcDnEIpb — Wrestle Ops (@WrestleOps) December 11, 2022 Furthermore, Kingston is the first WWE Champion to later win an NXT championship, and Woods is the first King of the Ring tournament winner to later capture an NXT title. #NXTDeadline @TrueKofi is the first former @WWE Champion to later hold a title in #WWENXT.@AustinCreedWins is the first former #WWE King o..

WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Star Possibly Reverting To Previous Character

Welcome back? There have been a lot of changes in WWE over the last few months, including several wrestlers changing gimmicks or characters. Some of them have become new versions while others have reverted more towards what they have done in the past. That might be the case with another star and it is something that fans have been wanting for a long time now. This weekend at NXT Halloween Havoc, a vignette aired showing a mask burning. The mask appeared similar to the one work by T-Bar, suggesting that he might be returning to NXT under his previous persona of Dominik Dijakovic, though this has not been confirmed. Dijakovic came up to NXT as part of the Retribution stable and kept his new name after everyone else had moved on. Dijakovic is coming back!! LFG!!!#HalloweenHavoc #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/YbkBfjvXEr — ?????? (@WrestlingCovers) October 23, 2022 Opinion: The first thing I’m wondering about this is what took so long. T-Bar never amounted to much on the main roster but Dijako..

BREAKING: NXT Suspends Three Stars After Assaulting Referee

They’re gone for a bit. With so many wrestlers on any of the WWE rosters, it can be difficult to find something for all of them to do. There are only so many ways around this problem, with one of the simplest being to have less wrestlers. WWE has already let a bunch of wrestlers go in recent years, but now there are three more who will not be around for the time being. The main event of this week’s edition of NXT saw Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs defeat Gallus in a Pub Rules match. Following the match, Gallus attacked a referee and were arrested to end the show. NXT’s Twitter has sent out an announcement saying that the team was suspended indefinitely. Gallus moved to NXT from NXT UK in July and has challenged for the NXT Tag Team Titles. BREAKING: #Gallus have been suspended indefinitely#WWENXT @Joe_Coffey @WolfgangYoung @m_coffey90 pic.twitter.com/V5Ztp8hK4r — WWE NXT (@WWENXT) September 28, 2022 Opinion: This is an interesting way to go and I’m not sure what is happening with Ga..

Crossover? NXT Fight Takes Place Backstage At WWE SmackDown

You have to get it in where you can. There are several WWE shows every single week with each one looking at a different core of wrestlers. This includes both main roster shows as well as NXT, which has its own world and group of stars. It can be interesting to see someone from NXT get involved with something on the main roster and now that has happened again (kind of). The NXT Twitter account has released a photo of a brawl that took place between Solo Sikoa and Von Wagner at last week’s SmackDown taping. The two have been feuding in NXT and it is unlikely that the brawl suggests that the two are being called up. Instead, the fight was likely held at SmackDown due to the show being taped near the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The footage will likely air on this week’s NXT. On Friday night there was an altercation between @WWEVonWagner and @WWESoloSikoa at #SmackDown. Tune in this Tuesday on #WWENXT at 8/7 C on @USA_Network to see what went down! pic.twitter.com/nH8Q7kJTd0 ..

The Rock’s Daughter Cuts First Promo In NXT

There’s the new generation. There are a lot of ways for a wrestler to get into the industry, but one of the things that can offer some instant credibility is being a second generation star. A wrestler with family in the business feels like a bigger deal because they have a connection to the sport and have probably learned more than the average newcomer. That was the case again this weekend, as the daughter of an all time legend took her first step into a much larger world. Dwayne Johnson’s daughter Simone, under the name of Ava Raine, cut her first promo at an NXT live event in Orlando, Florida over the weekend. Raine called herself the Final Girl and talked down about the rest of the NXT women’s division, including Cora Jade. There is currently no word on when Raine will either have her first match or make her television debut. Tonight was reportedly Simone Johnson's first promo in front of fans #WWENXT #nxtorlando @AvaRaineWWE https://t.co/oDWvtJmx95 — Jay Reddick (@runninjay..

Ouch: Another NXT Star Out Of Action With Injury

It happens to everyone. WWE presents a lot of content in any given week and you never know what you might see on any given show. That can include both good and bad things, such as someone getting hurt and being put on the shelf. We have been seeing that take place quite often in recent weeks and now it is the case again with another young, talented star. NXT’s Nathan Frazer has revealed that he is dealing with a minor injury but says that he will be back “before you know it”. Frazer did not go into specifics of his injury or when it took place. His most recent match at an NXT live event on June 10 when he was defeated by North American Champion Carmelo Hayes. Frazer moved from NXT UK to NXT last month and has regularly appeared on television since. Dealing with a little injury right now, I’ll be back before you know it????#WWENXT — Nathan Frazer (@WWEFrazer) June 29, 2022 Opinion: This is never something you want to see and unfortunately Frazer is the latest victim of the injury bu..

WWE Announces The Return Of A Classic Series As A One Off Special

Add it to the calendar. There are all kinds of special shows running throughout the WWE calendar, as the company has long since gone with a series of shows that have history behind them. This can make for some nice moments, as a show can continue in the path that has been set over its previous years. That will be the case again next month as WWE is bringing back a classic. Over the weekend at NXT In Your House, an announcement was made that the Great American Bash would be returning on Tuesday July 5 as a special episode of the NXT TV show. This will be the third straight year that the Great American Bash has taken place in NXT in July. The Great American Bash was originally a series of NWA events, then a regular WCW and WWE pay per view before becoming an occasional WWE TV special. Mark your calendars! #NXTIYH #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/nLJDWkoeXR — WWE NXT (@WWENXT) June 5, 2022 Opinion: This is the kind of show that makes sense for NXT to run, as the Great American Bash certainly h..

WWE Using NXT Stars At Live Events Due To Coronavirus Issues

That’s how they’re dealing with things. The Coronavirus is hitting the wrestling world all over again and there is nothing to suggest that it is going away anytime soon. This can cause a heck of a lot of problems in a hurry and that is the case with WWE. The company has a lot of resources available though, and now they are going to have to use some more to their advantage. WWE is holding its annual post Christmas live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City this weekend and a surprise match has been announced. The Garden’s Twitter account has announced that NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa will be defending his title against Pete Dunne. According to PWInsider.com, the match is also being added to this week’s Monday Night Raw live events in an effort to make up for some of the wrestlers taken off the shows due to Coronavirus issues. NXT Star Taking Some Time Away From The Ring

She needs a minute. There are so many wrestlers in the world today and thanks to modern technology, it has never been easier to keep track of someone. That can even be the case when they are not wrestling, which has opened up a new world of access. Unfortunately not everything that you see or hear from a wrestler is positive, and that seems to be the case again with a certain star. NXT’s Sarray has sent out a tweet saying that she is back in Japan but will be back soon. This comes after Sarray lost a match to Kay Lee Ray on this week’s NXT, after which she said that she was lost and nothing she did went as planned. There is no word on why Sarray has gone back to Japan or when she will be back. Sarray has been in WWE since April, wrestling on NXT and 205 Live. Sarray is lost. Nothing I do is working as planned. Why can’t I win…#WWENXT pic.twitter.com/bdCtKjBEty — SARRAY????? (@SarrayWWE) November 10, 2021 Sarray is back in Japan. But don't worry I'll be back soon. Thank ..

VIDEO: Terrible Mistake Takes Place On NXT, Wrestler Removed From Match

That did not look good. Wrestlers are very talented at what they do but there is always the chance of something going wrong. That is the kind of risk that every wrestler takes and it can be made even worse if they try to do something they are not quite ready to pull off. Sometimes that can lead to a bad ending, which was the case this week after a pretty bad mistake. This week’s NXT featured a triple threat match between Io Shirai, Persia Piratto and Jacy Jayne. During the match, Jayne attempted a suicide dive to the floor but caught her feet on the ropes, sending her face first onto the floor. The show went to a commercial and Jayne was gone when it came back without returning later in the match. There is no word on Jayne’s condition after the injury, though according to a fan on Twitter, she walked out of the arena. Let’s hope Jacy Jayne is ok ?? she walked out thank god! #wwenxt pic.twitter.com/tXA55jiVkc — Niko Exxtra (@nikoexxtra) October 20, 2021 It could have been worse. Che..

WATCH: New NXT Superstar Makes Surprise Debut

Nice to meet you? There have been a lot of changes made to NXT in recent months and there is a chance that they will continue moving forward. That can make for some interesting situations in NXT, as you never know who you might see show up next. That was the case this week, as a newcomer made his awaited debut, albeit under a bit of a different moniker. This week on NXT, Joe Gacy defeated Ikemen Jiro in a singles match. After the match was over, Gacy started to walk back to the entrance but stopped to stare at at a man in the stands, who stared back at him. Gacy smiled before walking backstage. The man was named Harland and is better known as Parker Boudreaux, a former college football player who signed with NXT earlier this year. Boudreaux made a cameo appearance as a security guard in August but this was his first time receiving a focus. ? #WWENXT pic.twitter.com/mlN3QA7wr2 — WWE NXT (@WWENXT) October 6, 2021 It was an interesting situation. RUMOR: Several NXT Names Who Make Be Drafted To WWE Main Roster

Change of address? The WWE Draft is coming up later this week and that is the kind of thing that could change the way WWE works for the next several months to come. You see new wrestlers showing up in different place and in some cases, it is their first time ever in those places. We might be seeing that again with a group of wrestlers making their main roster debuts. According to Jon Alba of the Living The Gimmick podcast, Hit Row is being discussed for a main roster call up during next month’s WWE Draft. The team has been together in NXT for the last several months, with Isaiah Swerve Scott being the current North American Champion. There is no word on what would happen to the title should the team be called up. The rest of the team includes B Fab, Top Dolla and Ashante Thee Adonis. Hit Row is one of the names being discussed for a main roster call-up from #WWENXT for the #WWE Draft, I'm told. Whether it ultimately gets the call will remain to be seen, obviously, but @AndrewZar..

RUMOR: Bad News For How WWE Views NXT

Three’s a crowd? WWE is the biggest and more powerful wrestling promotion in the world, to the point that they are regularly running four television shows, all with their own unique rosters. That alone is going to be tricky, as it can be difficult to keep track of everyone on every show. There is also a pecking order to the whole thing, and WWE has certainly figured it out. According to Jon Alba of Living The Gimmick, NXT is still considered the developmental show rather than the third brand of WWE. This comes after several instances of NXT being presented as a third brand, including winning the Battle For Brand Supremacy at Survivor Series 2019. Earlier this week, NXT Champion Karrion Kross made his Monday Night Raw debut, losing to Jeff Hardy in less than two minutes. Sources in #WWE tell me #WWENXT is officially viewed internally as "developmental," rather than the third brand as Paul Levesque's team has promoted over the past few years. Wrestling Fans Begin Movement To Bring WWE Star Back To Television

Let the people speak. Wrestling can be a complicated industry but ultimately it comes down to one thing: giving the fans something that they want to see. This sounds easier than it really is, but sometimes the fans can give you one heck of a hint. It can make things a lot better, though the promotion has to listen. That seems to be the case again, as some fans have made something clear. According to Wrestlinginc.com, a movement on Twitter to bring Mia Yim back to WWE television has begun in recent days. Using the hashtag “WeWantMiaYim”, fans have started asking WWE to allow Yim back on television. Yim, also known as Reckoning during her time in Retribution, has not wrestled on WWE television since the December 31 edition of Main Event. There is no word on why she has not appeared or when she might return. 100% behind the #WeWantMiaYim movement, the HBIC‘s talent and voice is sorely needed! @MiaYim was one of the best women in #WWENXT, dynamic, strong and fierce as hell. She deserves ..
