Rusev At Hell In A Cell; John Cena’s Status For RAW; Harper & Rowan; Vince McMahon
John Cena’s RAW Status
John Cena might not make it to RAW this week for the No Mercy go-home episode of the show. He wrestled with the SmackDown Live roster today on the Shenzhen show in China, and unless he has some more super powers we aren’t aware of, it’s going to be difficult for him to make the 17 hour trip to San Jose to appear on WWE’s flagship show tomorrow night.
Reigns and Cena is a huge selling point for No Mercy, so his possible absence on the go-home episode isn’t a really good thing. But, neither WWE’s website nor the SAP Center’s website are advertising him for tomorrow’s show.
Rumored Plans For Rusev At Hell In A Cell
Looks like the program that Rusev had with Randy Orton on SmackDown Live will continue on through Hell In A Cell, if rumors are to be believed, that is. The two have been working Last Man Standing matches at the blue brand’s house shows, and after Rusev got beat in under a minute by Orton at SummerSlam, it looks like a rematch may be headed our way at HIAC.
Where Are Luke Harper & Erick Rowan?
While the two have been working matches against each other on SmackDown Live house shows, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan have been noticeably absent from WWE weekly television. According to reports, there was a plan in place earlier this summer to bring the duo back to Tuesday nights with a new look as a team and reveal them as the ones who keep harassing Breezango. No word now if those plans have been nixed or not.
Update On Vince McMahon Bleeding On SmackDown Live
Looks like the plan all along was for Vince McMahon to bleed like a stuck pig on last week’s SmackDown Live after taking a headbutt from Kevin Owens.
It’s being reported now that Vince bladed before the match and used either Vaseline or NuSkin to cover the cut to make it easier to have the red stuff flow after taking the shot from Owens.
