Randy Orton Set To Break An All Time WWE Record
That’s what they’re made for. Records and statistics can be fascinating in wrestling, as there is end to how deep you can go. You will hear all kinds of stats and numbers and some of the things that you will find can be very interesting. It is a pretty cool moment when you see something take place for the first time ever, and that is going to be the case this weekend at a major event.
According to the Internet Wrestling Database, Randy Orton is scheduled to take part in his 177th pay per view match this Sunday at WWE Survivor Series. This will move him into first place all time, breaking his current tie with Kane at 176 pay per view matches. Orton and Riddle are scheduled to face the Usos in a champion vs. champion match. Orton’s first pay per view match came at Summerslam 2003.
Orton has been in some high profile pay per view matches. Check out some of his better ones:

Opinion: This is one of those things that I can find very interesting as you never know when you are going to see something like this come up. Orton is an all time legend and has been around WWE for what feels like ever. You don’t get to see something like this happen every day and Orton could hold that record for a very long time to come. He’s still active and will probably be adding to that record for years to come, so he really could put this one out of reach.
What do you think of Orton? What is his best pay per view match? Let us know in the comments below.
