Pile Them On: Three New Matches Announced For AEW Double Or Nothing

That’s a lot of new stuff. We are just over a week away from AEW’s Double Or Nothing pay per view and that means the majority of the card is set. The key word there is majority though, as there is always time to add something else to the show. AEW did just that this week, as three more matches were announced for the show within the span of an hour of television.

AEW announced three new matches for Double Or Nothing during this week’s edition of Rampage. First, the Young Bucks challenged the Hardys to a tag match, which was made official later in the show. Next, the Death Triangle unveiled a tombstone with HOUSE OF BLACK and the Double Or Nothing logo, confirming that their match will take place as well. Finally, Jade Cargill challenged Anna Jay to a TBS Title match after Jay chased Cargill off earlier in the night.

Opinion: This is the kind of night that can make a show get a lot bigger in a hurry and that is what happened here. Granted that might not be the best thing, as Double Or Nothing is turning into a very deep card. They should be good if they don’t add anything else, but you never can tell with a wrestling promotion. Hopefully they find the right balance, because having too many matches on a show can be a big problem.
