You Can See Him: John Cena Set For Huge Tag Match On December 30 SmackDown

There is no one like him. While he might not always be the most popular star in WWE, there are very few names in the history of the wrestling industry to reach the level of John Cena. Over a long, distinguished career, Cena became the face of WWE and helped carry it for several years. While Cena has mainly moved on to Hollywood, his appearances still mean a lot. Now we know what is next for him.

Her Too: Here Is Naomi’s Current Situation With WWE

What about her? Back in May, Sasha Banks walked out on WWE over issues with her creative direction and never returned to the company. While there were rumors of a return for several months, Banks ultimately went on to be announced for an appearance at New Japan’s Wrestle Kingdom. That is a big story, but Banks did not leave WWE alone. What about the woman who left with her?

When Banks left, she and Naomi vacated the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in the process. Naomi left with Banks and has not been seen in WWE since either. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is nothing new about Naomi in WWE, other than she has a decision to make. While Naomi wanted to return to WWE with Banks as a team, her options are now to go elsewhere or return alone. When Naomi walked out, her contract was about to expire, though there is no word on how long WWE may have frozen her contract. It i..

Impact Wrestling Results – December 15, 2022

Impact Wrestling
Date: December 15, 2022
Location: Charles F. Dodge City Center, Pembroke Pines, Florida
Commentators: Matthew Rehwoldt, Tom Hannifan
We are less than a month away from Hard To Kill and the title situations are rather interesting. We have the Major Brothers coming after the Tag Team Titles, Jordynne Grace vs. Mickie James set for a title vs. career match and Josh Alexander defending against Bully Ray. That’s a lot to build towards so let’s get to it.
Opening recap.
Eddie Edwards vs. Delirious This was going to be last week’s main event but then Josh Alexander vs. Mike Bailey almost hit an hour so it was punted to this week. They go technical to start and that’s good for a standoff. Edwards can’t grab an O’Connor roll but he can chop Delirious down, only to have Delirious come back up with a leg lariat.
An overhead belly to belly cuts that off in a hurry though and Eddie can fire off more chops. Delirious starts running the ropes in that bizarre manner of his so Edwa..

Import: WWE Considers Bringing In Other Company’s Champion For Royal Rumble

She’s a name. We are just over two weeks away from the end of the year and that means it is time to start getting ready for the start of the Road To WrestleMania 39. The first step in that process is going to be the Royal Rumble, where several stars are going to be needed to fill in the show’s namesake matches. You will often see names from outside the company popping in, and now we might be set for another one.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, New Japan’s Kairi (formerly known as Kairi Sane in WWE) is rumored to be part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match. However, this plan may have changed as Sane is now the IWGP Women’s Champion. WWE has brought in talent from other promotions before, as Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James competed in this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble, with Impact Wrestling being acknowledged on the broadcast.

Opinion: AEW’s Future Should NOT Involve ex-WWE Talent

Last week on Dynamite, MJF and Ricky Starks had a match that tore the house down. The storytelling was fantastic, the action was great, and the build up leading into the match made me very emotionally interested to see what was going to happen. This was Starks’ breakout match, and I hope it leads to him being a main event player in AEW for a long time.
However, as I was watching the show the last week, I realized something very, very important. And it’s something that could be the foundation for how AEW operates in the future.
In my opinion, the future of AEW does not involve ex-WWE talent, but rather the stars it is creating on its own.
I’ve said for a long time that Tony Khan has relied too much on talent from other promotions that were either released, or decided to leave, because they thought the grass would be greener on the other side. As we’ve seen with AEW’s booking, as well as how the superstars have been used, nothing could be further from the truth. We don’t know what we ..

Jake “The Snake” Roberts: “I Chose Drugs and Alcohol Over a Family”

Jake “The Snake” Roberts was recently interviewed by Bleacher Report where he discussed a number of topics. Among them were almost dying due to drugs and alcohol, becoming sober and who helped him along the way, joining AEW, and more.
Below are some questions, along with “The Snake”‘s answers:
Bleacher Report: Thanks to The Resurrection of Jake the Snake and the Vice episode, you aired significant issues which aren’t easy for anyone to discuss. How have your relationships with your family changed after addressing those pitfalls of the past?
Jake Roberts: “It’s gotten better. My oldest daughter and I are now golden. I have another daughter who’s golden. I have twin boys who are golden. But I do have four other children, who are…still holding their ground. I understand it. I’m not trying to shove anything down their throats.
“I’m guilty of everything I did and didn’t do. It’s more things that I didn’t do, because I was never around them when I was messed up or drunk or anything like..

RUMOR KILLER On Chris Jericho And Sasha Banks’ New Japan Payoffs

He would know. There are a lot of wrestlers in the professional wrestling industry, but one of the most important parts of the industry is the first word: professional. These wrestlers are out there competing for money and the more successful they have been in their careers, the more money they are going to make. Now one wrestler is setting the record straight, or at least straighter, on some of his pay issues.
Sasha Banks is currently set to debut with New Japan Pro Wrestling at the January 4 Wrestle Kingdom 17 event. A report earlier this week said that she would be making $100,000 per appearance, which was said to be more than Chris Jericho made for his appearances with the company. Jericho has since responded to the rumor, saying that he never had a flat appearance deal and was paid according to the event. In addition, Jericho said that he made more per event than he made for “MOST of my Wrestlemania matches”. Jericho wrestled six matches with New Japan from 2018-2020.

Yes So Fast: Update On Drew McIntyre’s WWE Return Status

Welcome back. Injuries are a terrible thing to see in wrestling, as they can leave someone on the shelf for a long time to come.
