Cruz Montana - Roman Reigns | WWE WWE NXT star Cruz Montana made his main roster debut on Monday Night RAW by revealing himself as the newest member of 946, assisting in taking out The Bloodline. Montana even took down World Heavyweight Champion “The OTC” Roman Reigns with a thrown chair to the fan favorite and a Spin the Block maneuver.
WWE Hall of Famer and NXT executive Shawn Michaels shared a clip of Montana’s main stable of talent debut on his Twitter (X) account and commented on the significance of the moment.
Michaels wrote, “Another one moving on up! 👏
Congratulations to @Montana_NYPR on making the jump to the main collective of talent!
That’s 19 NXT Superstars making the leap to Raw and SmackDown in the most most recent 12 months. On the flip side even prouder of the talent and crew who make it happen, pretty proud of that number.
Keep showing the world what #WWENXT is all about!
See the future of WWE this week on Wednesday night at 8/7c on @TheCW and the @espn Unlimited app!”
Over the past week’s WWE NXT will air on Wednesday, as Shawn Michaels noted, due to U.S. midterm election coverage later in the day. Montana is still penciled in to compete on Wednesday’s episode, where he will babyface Dion Lennox in an Unsanctioned Clash — with UFC star Michael Chandler overseeing the action. This scheduling will put NXT head-to-head against the “Blood & Guts” airing of AEW Dynamite.
