In an interesting turn of events, AEW National Defending champion Andrade El Ídolo took to his Twitter (X) account on Sunday to share that he hasn’t been feeling well since Grand Slam Mexico, as indicated by PWMania.com. He decided to see a doctor, after participating in two MLP shows. El Ídolo mentioned that he will be out of action for a few days or weeks, however reassured audience that it is nothing serious.

Although some faithful expressed concern about a potential injury, a report from Fightful Select validated that he is “fine.” The situation was on top of that noted that this week was already lined up as a week off for him — and he looks set to reappearance to television the following week. Additionally, his ongoing conflict with MJF and his appearance at All In: London are still on schedule.

El Ídolo is currently set to be the #1 competitor in the Casino Gauntlet Battle at All In: London. The winner of this match will earn an AEW World Title match. All In: London is slated for Sunday, August 30th, at Wembley Stadium in London, England, and will air live on PPV, HBO Max, and MyAEW internationally.
