Just recently, PWMania.com brought word that WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner’s son, Brock Rechsteiner, has been suspended by the NFL. Despite this suspension, there are still high hopes that he might eventually transition into a wrestling career with WWE once his NFL journey concludes. In January 2025, Steiner mentioned that Triple H had offered his son a WWE NIL deal.
In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio — Dave Meltzer shared his expectation that Rechsteiner will be joining WWE within a couple of months. He added that Rechsteiner’s chances of remaining with the Latest Orleans Saints were slim, regardless of his suspension, as he was neither drafted nor had a strong position on the team. Meltzer noted that the six-game suspension would further hurt Rechsteiner’s chances of making the talent pool, and he is likely to be cut from the team.
Meltzer on top of that expressed that Rechsteiner’s most probable future lies with WWE, and he has echoed that sentiment. Steiner’s cousin and a existing WWE star who is also the reigning World Tag Team Defending champion, he compared Rechsteiner’s situation to that of Bron Breakker. Breakker had a brief stint in the NFL before successfully transitioning to wrestling with WWE.
Overall, Meltzer believes that Rechsteiner is primarily exploring his options in football. Like Breakker, may soon find his path in wrestling, potentially receiving a fast-tracked opportunity in WWE.
