As we noted in our preview for tonight’s episode of RAW, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman are scheduled to answer WWE World Champion Jinder Mahal’s challenge for Summer Slam. Word has it that Shane McMahon is backstage at RAW tonight to make that match official.

It also looks like WWE will have John Cena as the special guest referee for the match. Why he won’t be wrestling is beyond me, but maybe they are planning on starting up the rumored program between him and Mahal with him acting as the official for the match.

Several stars from SmackDown Live are backstage at RAW today, so even more matches could be announced.

Speaking of Survivor Series, it’s being reported that a good chunk of the card is already set. The RAW vs SmackDown Live theme will carry all through the show.

Along with the Jinder Mahal/Brock Lesnar match, RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss will apparently be facing SmackDown Women’s Champion Natalya. The Women’s Divisions of both shows will have a traditional Survivor Series match, and Sasha Banks and Bayley will face off tonight on RAW to determine who will captain that team.

The Cruiserweights will also be having a traditional Survivor Series match, with Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore captaining one team and Kalisto the other.

The Miz will face off with Baron Corbin, and the RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will square off with SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos. And, after last night happenings at TLC, we will probably be seeing Kane vs Braun Strowman.

That takes care of all the champions from each brand, and the only other match I can see them adding is a traditional Survivor Series match for the men. Maybe Team Bálor vs Team Styles? But, it’ll probably end up being Team Shane vs Team Angle.
