Minoru Suzuki Scheduled For Upcoming Ring Of Honor US Shows
Minoru Suzuki, the current NJPW NEVER Openweight Champion and resident scariest man on the planet, will be coming to the US next month to compete in his first US match in 25 years. NJPW and Ring Of Honor have announced that MiSu will be competing on the upcoming ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV and subsequent television tapings in Las Vegas on September 22nd and 23rd.

Suzuki and KUSHIDA will represent NJPW on these shows, leaving the upcoming Destruction tour after the September 16th Destruction In Hiroshima show. Suzuki will be working with Michael Elgin on the Destruction tour and will defend his NEVER Openweight Championship against Big Mike on the Destruction In Fukushima show on September 10th.
This will be the first appearance in Ring Of Honor for Suzuki; he’s never been part of the US tours with the company, who has a working relationship with NJPW. KUSHIDA is the current ROH World Television Champion, and he will no doubt be defending the title on the shows.
Ring Of Honor will be taping a month’s worth of television during the Death Before Dishonor weekend in Vegas, and so far, KUSHIDA and Suzuki are the only two NJPW stars announced for the shows.
