Matt and Jeff Hardy’s Father Passes Away
We have some unhappy information to record, as Claude Gilbert Hardy, father of Matt and Jeff Hardy, kicked the bucket ultimate week on the age of 87.
Matt took to Instagram to jot down a tribute in honor of his overdue father. An excerpt of this is beneath:
Our Dad began out as our greatest critic once we first sought after to chase the dream of being professional wrestlers. After a couple of years of suffering & then discovering luck within the WWE, our Dad become our greatest fan. He used to be so proud to be “The Hardy Boyz Daddy” & recorded each fit of ours on his VCR. Our Dad used to be a favourite of Hardy lovers, even incomes the nickname of “The Legend.”
Jeff & I believe so blessed to have had our Dad are living to be 87 years outdated. He were given to look his kids are living out their goals & give him many grandchildren to proceed the Hardy title & bloodline.
Early Tuesday morning, April sixth, our Dad kicked the bucket. Jeff & I had been with him at house & by way of his bedside when he took his ultimate breath. My brother Jeff used to be our Dad’s mother or father angel the ultimate couple of years. I used to be lucky to spend quite a lot of time & have many conversations with my Dad the previous few months. I felt at peace with the whole lot. Just like our Dad mentioned when our Mom handed, he’d need Jeff & I to move on. Today we laid him to leisure beside our Mother & hope they’ve been reunited after being aside for nearly 35 years.
