Kurt Angle says he is not re-signing with TNA Wrestling
Kurt Angle was interviewed by the Mark Madden’ radio show and revealed that he is not going to continue with TNA after his current deal expires at the end of 2015. Below are some of the highlights:
Angle says he wants to take a break from pro-wrestling and therefore is not going to sign the deal with TNA. Although Angle will be at this year’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view next month.
He won’t be trying to get into the WWE during the break.
He is not sure of the situation between TNA and Destination America, saying nothing has been said to him about the matter. He says he hopes that something works out as there are many great talents in TNA.
He says he’s dedicated to TNA until his deal expires and then see what happens, adding that TNA has always treated him well. He says people don’t really know how good Dixie Carter has been to him.
He says a WWE return is always possible for a final match but he’s currently not desperate to do anything so he can retire. Angle says he’s happy with his career and will decide further about the next steps in his time off.
