Betting Sites Dropping Wrestling?

It’s being reported that someone within WWE with some insider information on the finishes to matches made a whole heap of money off of betting on SummerSlam. Due to this one person, apparently some betting sites are considering dropping wrestling completely.

Dave Meltzer wrote:

“He did a $3.36 parlay on ten matches, all of which he got right, and won $45,600. That was a key thing where I mentioned after the show that a lot of the gambling sites were considering dropping WWE because insiders that knew could make a lot of money and that level money was ridiculous. The company that got hammered hasn’t done parlays in a long time, and won’t be doing them again.”

Meltzer also noted that some WWE talents bet heavily and some sites recognize them, which causes the odds to switch.

Kairi Sane On Winning The MYC & Working In Front Of American Audiences

Mae Young Classic winner Kairi Sane spoke with NBC Sports shortly after winning the tournament and seemed a bit shocked to be in that position.

“I was very proud of myself to be there as one of the finalists. It was surprising that I made it so far. I felt nervous, but it was such a happy day for me.”

As far as working in front of American fans as compared to Japanese ones, she seems happy to be working in front of American fans these days.

“I have to say American fans make me happier. I love their reactions. It’s very exciting and fun. It’s as if they’re fighting together with me.”
