Vince McMahon made his triumphant return to WWE television tonight on SmackDown Live, but his triumph was short lived. During a segment with Kevin Owens, The Chairman Of The Board got demolished.

WWE posted the following update on Mr. McMahon after the attack by Owens.

WWE Chairman and CEO Mr. McMahon was on the receiving end of a brutal attack at the hands of Kevin Owens during the shocking conclusion of Sin City SmackDown.

WWE.com has learned that, following the attack, Mr. McMahon did not give comment and refused to be looked at by medical staff.

Kairi Sane Gets Her Shot At The NXT Women’s Title

As we all saw earlier tonight, Kairi Sane won the inaugural Mae Young Classic, defeating Shayna Baszler in the finals.

Triple H announced after the match was over that Kairi would be getting a shot at the vacated NXT Women’s Title at NXT TakeOver: Houston.

“[I’m] very excited that she’s the first champion, and now the question is ‘What’s next for her?’ I can tell you what’s next for her. On Nov. 18 at the Toyota Center at the next NXT TakeOver, Kairi will be fighting to determine a new NXT women’s champion.”

We reported earlier tonight that the rumor was that the winner of the tournament would compete in a multi-woman match to crown the new champion, and now, that appears to be the case.
