After having been gone from WWE weekly television for over a year, it looks like Paige may be back in a WWE ring as soon as next month. After dealing with Wellness Policy violations and suspensions, drama over her relationship with Alberto El Patron, and a neck injury that required surgery and months of rehab, it’s being reported that Paige has been medically cleared to return to in-ring action.

And, even though she was drafted to RAW back in 2016, it looks like WWE is going to act like that never happened and bring her back on SmackDown Live. Truth be told, the blue brand needs her more than the RAW roster does.

John Cena Lands Big Movie Role

Looks like John Cena will be taking another long break from the WWE. Deadline is reporting that Cena has landed a co-starring role in a yet-to-be-named buddy cop comedy alongside Kumail Nanjiani. The film will be directed by Ruben Fleischer and produced by The District production company. Murray Miller will be the script writer for the movie.

No word on when the project will begin production, but it’s pretty much a given that Cena won’t be seen on WWE television for the duration of filming.
