Bound For Glory In Ottawa
As we reported over the weekend, Impact Wrestling let the cat out of that bag that the promotion’s biggest show of the year will be headed north of the border to Canada. Today, Impact Wrestling took to Twitter to let everyone know that this year’s big show would be held in Ottawa.
BREAKING: #BFG2017 will be held in Ottawa, Ontario Canada on Sunday, November 5th!

Interestingly enough, in the official announcement for Bound For Glory’s location, there was no mention of Global Force Wrestling whatsoever.
Jim Cornette Leaves GFW & Impact Wrestling
Well, after being there for short amount of time and after saying that he was there as long as he was wanted, it’s being reported that Jim Cornette has parted ways with Global Force Wrestling. This appears to have something to do with Bound For Glory being held in Canada.
Cornette hasn’t been to Canada since 2010, when he was turned away at the border when they ran his record, which included a number of assaults, mostly stemming from incidents involving fights with fans who attacked him while he was a manager at matches in the 1980s. He has traveled regularly to Canada during his WWE tenure, but he never attended Ring Of Honor shows when the promotion traveled to Toronto.
Cornette has said that there is no heat on either side with his departure; it is just a matter of circumstance.
