It’s A Painful Game: What Happened After Violent Ending To AEW Dynamite

That could have gone better. There are a lot of match types in wrestling and some of them are built more on violence than anything else. These can be the big finale for a feud and that can make for some rather big moments. It can be better when it is a match type that you do not see happen very often, which was the case again this week. As it turns out, there was more to it after the show was over.

The main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite was a barbed wire match between Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston, with Jericho winning. After the match, Kingston attacked Jericho again and sent him from the apron onto a barbed wire board on the floor. According to PWInsider.com, following the show, Jericho was removed from the barbed wire and taken from the arena on a stretcher.

Opinion: That is the way such a night should end, as Jericho was in a very violent and bloody match and shouldn’t have been able to leave on his own. I’m not sure why the post match angle needed to take place so soon after Kingston lost but at least he got a little something back after the not so great ending. Hopefully this is the end of the feud though, as there isn’t much left to do.

What do you think of the ending? Where do you see the two of them going from here? Let us know in the comments below.
