Get The Paperwork Ready: WWE Making Effort To Re-Sign Star

Lock him up. One of the biggest changes taking place over the last few months has been the amount of wrestlers leaving WWE. Some of them have been thrown out the door due to budget cuts, but others have allowed their contracts to expire without signing a new deal with the company. WWE is going to be wanting to sign some wrestlers up, and now it seems they have a new target.

According to Fightful Select, WWE is attempting to sign Pete Dunne to a contract extension, though it is not clear how long of a deal WWE is offering. There is no word on if Dunne has signed the deal or if he is interested in signing a new deal with the company. Dunne signed with WWE in 2017, though it is not clear when his current contract will expire. He is currently wrestling in NXT.

Dunne is worth keeping around. Check out what WWE wants to re-sign:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that WWE should be trying to do, as Dunne is a young and talented wrestler who already has a resume in the company. Do what you can to keep him around, because you do not get to find a talent like him all that often. WWE would be crazy to not try and re-sign him, though there is always the chance that Dunne does not want to stick around.

Will Dunne re-sign with WWE? Where do you want him to sign? Let us know in the comments below.
