Conflicting Reports On AEW Star Suffering Injury
Maybe? Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to a wrestler at any time as you never know how bad something might be. You can’t tell if someone is going to be out of action for a few days or several months and it can make for some rather scary moments. In this case though, you might not be able to tell if anything is wrong or not as the situation is not entirely clear.
There are conflicting reports about AEW’s Thunder Rosa suffering an injury this week at Dynamite. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rosa suffered an injury, though it is not clear when it took place. Rosa teamed with Mercedes Martinez to defeat Jamie Hayter/Britt Baker, setting up Rosa’s match with Baker at Revolution. However, the Revolution match is still scheduled to take place, injury or not. At the same time, Fightful Select is reporting that according to AEW sources, Rosa did not suffer an injury despite having her leg taped. As the Newsletter reported, the match at Revolution is still taking place.
Opinion: I don’t know what is going on here, but the end result is that is that the match is still on. This is a match that has been built up for a very long time now and it would be a shame to have it cut off at the last second. Baker and Rosa have a deep history with each other and this is the match that should result in Rosa finally becoming Women’s Champion. The match still seems to be taking place though and that is what matters here.
What do you think of the match? How do you see it going? Let us know in the comments below.
